[🌊 Ecosystem Regeneration🐟]

🌍In June, our member Jules Danto had the opportunity to participate to a training on and , from the UNESCO Ocean, e.on and the Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro for the project on Tremiti Islands in the Adriatic Sea.

🐠With the overall aim of and marine ecosystems damaged by anthropogenic impact and the climate crisis, he focused on seagrass meadows. Not only did he carry out underwater dives to perform practical transplantation operations, but he also worked on developing effective scientific communication and storytelling content.

📢 It was also the occasion to engage the local community and tourists through the organization of a public event, showcasing the research works on the archipelago, such as those of Giovanni Chimienti, zoologist and hashtag .

✅ We are truly thankful for this enriching experience with dedicated and wonderful young professionals (Early Career Ocean Professionals ).

🇮🇸 De retour sur le terrain dans les fjords du Nord-Ouest de l'Islande!

📣A la suite de l’exposition Fjord: anatomie d’un socio-écosystème, et comme nous le précisions dans notre interview "Expédition en Islande : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4IQKBJK8rk ", nous voilà de nouveau dans la région d'Ísafjörður afin de continuer nos travaux pour ethnographier les adaptations et transformations des pratiques d'utilisation des ressources naturelles face aux changements socio-écosystémiques à l’œuvre en Islande du nord-ouest.

🇮🇸 Dans la foulée de l’exposition Fjord: anatomie d’un socio-écosystème, retour en images sur notre expédition avec Arctic Lab dans le nord-ouest de l’Islande en juillet 2023 !

🌊Projet de recherche : ethnographier les adaptations et transformations des pratiques d'utilisation des ressources naturelles face aux changements socio-écosystémiques à l’œuvre en Islande du nord-ouest.
