Reimagining Agricultural: a look at regenerative pasts, presents and futures.

22nd of April 19:00 CET
Participation is free

Dara Casey has been studying and practicing regenerative agriculture since 2017. These studies have included spending time with indigenous farmers practicing ancestral methods, such as Mayan and Xocimilcan farmers in Mexico, Amazigh farmers in the Oases of Morocco, and the Karen forest people in Northern Thailand, and also modern methodologies, studying at, among other places, a research centre for syntropic agriculture in Brazil.
He will be giving a workshop on regenerative agriculture, in which he explores the question of how we have arrived at our contemporary land management practices, as well as offering the insights into different regenerative practices from around the world.

Apply to the Voices of the Earth training 🌟
This 8-day Erasmus+ training equips youth workers with practical, hands-on tools to foster honest dialogue, reduce tension, and create safe, inclusive spaces. Participants explore clay-based exercises, effective communication techniques, and group facilitation methods that can be applied directly in their projects.

The program supports emotional expression, conflict resolution, and stronger community connections. Each participant also commits to facilitating at least one local 3C session within 90 days, extending the impact beyond the workshop.

This year we planted over 1300 trees and other perenial plants in our agroforestry project in Cateau (our 1.5 hectare terrain dedicated to forest gardening)🌱🌿🌴🌳🌲🌵 Around 200 of them were fruit trees and the rest are trees planted in high density to create a forest and get the syntropic effect✨ Much gratitude to everyone involved ♥️

If you would like to learn more about planting and managing forest gardens come to Catfarm next year!

From food waste to food saving 🌱 every week we go to the market where the people kindly give us the produce they could not sell otherwise. We sort it, partly making delicious food and the rest compost for our garden🐛

🌿We had the joy of sharing our work at the “Construire & Cohabiter Autrement” festival in Agde!

We had a stand to present our projects and met many inspiring people from the region. We held a conference about our organisation, our educational initiatives, and reforestation project. 💚

A big thank you to everyone who came by, asked questions, and shared their stories — your support keeps us growing! 🌱

Another big thank you to Samantha for the organisation
