Vovinam school is managed by the Vovinam’s Council of Masters, according to the statement of Grand Master Le Sang:

Status of the Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo School’s Management Masters Council. Released by Patriarch Master “Chưởng Môn Lê Sáng” (signed on March 31st, 2010)

“Since the creation of the Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo school by our late Grand Master Nguyễn Lộc, we have known ups and downs, and gone thro

ugh challenging periods. But our school has overcome them all and developed at home as well as abroad; this reflects how much Vovinam is bringing to the human kind, and has been possible only thanks to the efforts and determination of all the Masters and Instructors. In order to develop the school in accordance with our three goals and the five beliefs, we have to adapt the way our school is managed and organized. Now that our school has developed so much at home as abroad, we have to change our way of organizing, which has become obsolete. This is why, in my responsibility as Patriarch Master towards the future of our school, I hereby proclaim our new organization committee. This organization committee, which shall be called: “The Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo School’s Management Masters Council” (Hội Đồng Võ Sư Chưởng Quản Môn Phái Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo), will replace the organizations in place thus far. The head of the Management Masters Council shall be called “Chánh Chưởng Quản” and is the leader of our school. Thus, the name “Chưởng Môn” shall cease to be used in the future. This way, from now on, the names “Sáng Tổ Nguyễn Lộc” (Founder Master Nguyễn Lộc) and “Chưởng Môn Lê Sáng” (Patriarch Master Lê Sáng) will remain associated to distinct and specific periods of our school.”

On the 24th of August 2010, at Tổ Đường, Võ Sư Chưởng Môn Lê Sáng proclaimed the new organization committee. The Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo School’s Management Masters Council shall be composed of:

1/Master Nguyễn Văn Chiếu : “Chánh Chưởng Quản”
2/Master Nguyễn Văn Sen : “ Chánh vụ Lễ Nghi – Kỹ Thuật”
3/Master Nguyễn Văn Vang : “Chánh vụ Khảo Thí – Kiểm Tra”
4/Master Trần Văn Mỹ : “Chánh sự”
5/Master Nguyễn Chánh Tứ : “Chánh sự”
6/Master Mai Văn Hiệp : “Chánh sự”
7/Master Võ Văn Tuấn : “ Chánh vụ Kế Thống – Nhân Lực”
8/Master Trần Đa : “Chánh vụ Tài Chính – Vật Chất”
9/Master Nguyễn Tôn Khoa : “Chánh Vụ Văn Phòng”

In May 2026, an Italian delegation led by senior masters Vittorio Cera and Giuseppe Pollastro paid their respects to Võ Sư Chánh Chưởng Quản Nguyễn Văn Chiếu at his home in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on the occasion of the Advanced Grading Examination for four candidates: Luca Marzocchi, Filippo Pollastro, Lorenzo de Oliveira, and Chiara Riva.
