Proud to support the IEEE France Day flagship event, organized this year by the IEEE Université Paris-Saclay Student Branch under the leadership of Amen Allah Krissane and Prof. Demba Diallo.

IEEE YP France continues to foster collaboration between students, professionals, and sponsors, while supporting the transition to Young Professionals. This edition also celebrated the growth of our IEEE France community 🎉

Our team actively contributed across multiple sessions, including keynotes, roundtables, and poster sessions.

Are you ready to join our journey for R8 LEAD 2.0

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the IEEE Region 8 Young Professionals LEAD Program 2026!

LEAD stands for Learn, Empower, Adapt, and Drive — and that’s exactly what this program is designed to help you do.

🔹 Program Objectives
Through this 10-week virtual journey, you will:

✅ Accelerate your knowledge of IEEE’s structure, services, and resources
✅ Build leadership, teamwork, and project management skills
✅ Strengthen communication and collaboration in both volunteer and professional spaces
✅ Connect with other passionate YPs across Region 8
✅ Gain clarity on leadership pathways and funding opportunities in IEEE
✅ Join a powerful network of future leaders across Region 8

🔹 Program Structure
📅 Start Date: 24 April 2026
⏱ Duration: 10 Weeks
💻 Format: Virtual Weekly Sessions

FOR
IEEE YP members, YP AG ExComs and emerging leaders in R8

🔹 Selection Criteria
• An active IEEE membership.
• Must be an active IEEE member for at least two years.
• One or more years of experience as an IEEE volunteer.
• Is a Graduate Student Member or higher.
• Reside within IEEE Region 8.
• Meet the Young Professionals eligibility criteria (graduated within the past 15 years).
• An interest in becoming a future IEEE leader.
• Not R8 LEAD Graduate

We had the pleasure of joining the IEEE Young Professionals YP Connect meeting with Young Professional leaders from around the world, and a special highlight was Saaveethya Sivakumar, IEEE YP Global Chair, who inspired us with her insights and vision for 2026. 🌍💡
Looking back at 2025–2026, YP IEEE FRANCE SECTION grew by 18%! 🎉
This milestone reflects the dedication of our amazing committee: Emna AMRI , Imtiez Akermi , Srinivas Nagaraja, and Nicole Caballero-Canchanya.
It also celebrates the passion, energy, and engagement of all our Young Professionals across France. 🙌
