​As we mark the 165th Birth Anniversary of our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, we find ourselves navigating a curious moment in history. We live in a world more digitally connected than ever, yet we often feel deeply fragmented—polarized by noise, isolated by screens, and challenged by global uncertainties.

​In this special commemorative message, Supreme Commander Sir Emmanuel F. Calairo, KGCR, reminds us that it is in these precise moments that Rizal’s legacy stops being a page in a history book and starts becoming our living compass.

​Rizal did not just write about liberty; he curated hope. He knew that the greatest threat to a people is not external oppression, but internal apathy.
