📊 How to turn your business data into clear decisions with AI?

Bots4Business, a training programme funded by the European Union, offers a free mini-course on exactly that. In "Data Analytics & BI," working with a sample sales dataset, you'll get an AI-generated plain-English summary of trends, then build an automatic chart to visualise them.

You'll finish by comparing both outputs to answer a real business question, and learn how to judge whether AI's insights actually make sense.

💼 If you want to learn how to use AI in Sales, keep reading.

Bots4Business, a free EU-funded training programme, has a mini-course built for that.

In "Sales," you'll practise analysing a prospect's professional profile to understand their communication style, then use a generative AI tool to draft a highly personalised cold email based on those insights, right down to tone and messaging.

The course also covers how to review and edit AI drafts so they still sound authentically like you.

A week from now, the Bots4Business partners meet in Zagreb. Before that, a reminder of what the project has already put online.

In August we announced it: the Bots4Business SME Training Package and MOOC are live, free and open to every small and medium-sized business.

No fee, no prior knowledge required. The training is built for people who run small companies without a tech department behind them:

• where AI can take over repetitive admin work
• how AI supports digital marketing and customer communication
• how to read AI-generated insights and turn them into business decisions

If you have already opened it, share the link with a company that has not.

🤔 Did You Know? #2

Getting great results from AI isn't just about choosing the right tool—it's about asking the right questions.

A well-written prompt gives AI the context it needs to generate accurate, relevant, and useful responses. Even small changes in your instructions can make a big difference.

💡 Pro tip: Be specific about your audience, objective, tone, and desired format. The more context you provide, the better the outcome.

This is just one of many practical AI tips we'll be sharing through our Did You Know? series—and a preview of the learning resources being developed by the Bots4Business project.

💬 Have you ever been surprised by how different AI's answers can be after changing your prompt? Tell us in the comments!

🚀 AI Adoption in Europe: Are SMEs Keeping Up?

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way businesses operate—but many small businesses are still at the beginning of their AI journey.

📊 According to the latest European SME Performance Report, only 17% of small businesses in Europe are using AI technologies, compared to 55% of large companies.

This highlights a significant opportunity: with the right knowledge, training, and practical tools, SMEs can unlock the benefits of AI to improve productivity, innovation, and competitiveness.

At Bots4Business, we're working to bridge this gap by equipping SMEs and VET professionals with the skills and resources they need to confidently adopt Artificial Intelligence.

As the project moves closer to its conclusion, after the summer break partners across Europe will launch the national pilot activities, bringing the AI training programme into real learning environments.
VET trainers will have the opportunity to explore and test the training materials, providing valuable feedback on their quality, relevance and usability. At the same time, they will strengthen their AI knowledge and develop practical skills to better support SMEs in their digital transformation journey.
The pilot activities are a key milestone, ensuring that the training programme is refined through real user experience.
Together, we're turning collaboration into action and learning into impact.
