Today, we celebrate the International Day of Persons, 1st of October!

As more of public life moves online, humans rights must remain accessible to everyone at every age.

Digitalisation can expand participation but only when barriers to access, affordability, connectivity and digital literacy are addressed.

With the International Day of Older Persons, we reaffirm the importance of a digital future where age is never a barrier to democratic participation.
