🎉🌍 IYCS International Coordination Celebrates 80 Years 🌍🎉
On 28 June 2026, the International Young Catholic Students (IYCS–JECI) marked a historic milestone—the 80th Anniversary of the International Coordination (1946–2026)—celebrated in the United States.
The event was organized by former International Team members based in the U.S., in collaboration with the International Secretariat, held at Roscoe Nix Elementary School, Silver Spring, MD.
This special gathering brought together former International Team members, chaplains based in the U.S., former International Advisory Board members, alumni, local parish priests, and members of the Cardijn Associates. It was a moment of joyful reunion, reflection, and gratitude.
Participants shared their experiences of service in the movement, rekindled friendships, and launched a renewed Alumni initiative, strengthening the bond of solidarity that continues to sustain IYCS across generations.
As we celebrate 80 years of international coordination, we give thanks for the journey so far and renew our commitment to the mission of forming young people who are active agents of change in the world.
