We are grateful to our lawyers, Clémance Bectarte and Chloé Pasmantier, for their extraordinary dedication throughout the Sabri Essid trial in France, a historic moment for the Yezidi community.

This trial was not only about legal arguments. It was about survivors and their courage to come forward and to speak in pursuit of justice. As has been said many times, the road to justice is long. Survivors do not need to walk this path alone. They need protection, care, and unwavering support every step of the way.

Clémance and Chloé demonstrated remarkable commitment. They went beyond legal representation, ensuring that survivors were supported, heard, and treated with dignity throughout the entire process.

As Clémance Bectarte said:

“The testimonies of all the survivors underscore the urgent need for justice and the importance of creating a lasting record of the atrocities they endured—not only for themselves, but also for their children, their families and the entire community.”

And as Chloé Pasmantier reflected:

“For generations, children of the Yazidi community have grown up with stories of genocide. It now falls to this Court to ensure that future generations grow up with stories of justice.”

In moments like these, the role of lawyers is not only to advocate in court, but to stand beside survivors with humanity and strength. Their work reminds us that justice is not only about verdicts. It is also about restoring dignity, acknowledging truth, and honoring the voices of those who have endured unimaginable crimes.

We are proud to have them alongside us in this fight.

The course is designed to help households manage resources and plan for a more secure future. This educational class is part of a larger project to support 50 of the most vulnerable families in Sinjar with direct cash. We would like to thank The William J. and Dorothy K. In Iraq, many Yezidi women and girls continue to face significant barriers to education, employment, and independence.

Through this project, they gain access to basic education and practical skills, building confidence and resilience as well as stronger support networks and pathways to future employment opportunities.

Step by step, they are reclaiming their agency and building a better tomorrow for the Yezidi community.

CONVICTED! Lagarge convicted, and Lafarge employees, including CEO Bruno Lafont, sentenced to prison. This is due to Lafarge paying taxes to ISIS and other terrorists.

FYF has shared evidence of Lafarge wrongdoing with French investigative judges. The conviction today was in relation to Lafarge's complicity in terrorism. The second part of this trial is for Lafarge's complicity in crimes against humanity.

FYF is a civil party to the case on behalf of Yezidis in relation to the Yezidis Genocide perpetrated by ISIS. FYF, supported by our legal team (), provided testimony to the French investigative judges in 2022 at the Tribunal de Paris.

Of the memos FYF submitted to the French judges, this one is public:

This conviction shows that companies that have done business with ISIS and have helped to fund its activities may find themselves legally culpable for the atrocities that ISIS committed. We will go after them all, one by one.

At the UK Parliament, Dr. Ewelina Ochab raised urgent concerns over the lack of accountability for crimes against the Yezidi people.

While prosecutions have taken place across Europe, the UK continues to fall behind. Of 400 British ISIS members returnees, only 32 have been convicted, none for genocide or other international crimes.

This failure excludes Yezidi survivors from justice and denies them their right to be heard.

After witnessing historic trials in France and across Europe, Sareta Ashraph highlights the urgent need for the UK to act.

We are grateful to Sareta for her continued support and for her role in recognizing the Yezidi genocide from the very beginning.

Following FYF’s participation in the APPG on Women, Peace and Security meeting at the UK Parliament, David Alton raised urgent concerns about justice for the Yezidi people.

Despite more than 400 British nationals returning after joining ISIS, not one has been prosecuted for genocide or other international crimes committed against Yezidis.

The UK has both the responsibility and the legal obligation to act, yet accountability remains absent.

We thank Lord Alton for his continued commitment to justice and for amplifying the voices of the Yezidi people.

While European countries are taking action, the UK has yet to hold perpetrators accountable for crimes against Yezidis. Around 400 British ISIS members returned to the UK, yet none have been prosecuted for genocide or crimes against Yezidi people.

We thank MP for continuing to raise his voice for Yezidi people.
