Atahualpa, the last Inca ruler of Peru I greet you on behalf of all the oppressed people of the Old World—a world that needs all the ancestral wisdoms of the globe to be reborn into profound truth. I am proposing an urgent peace initiative: drafting a global constitution inspired by the shared wealth of our ancestral wisdoms, and finally making the effort to piece together the puzzle of all our knowledge through dialogue and negotiation rather than the use of force. The Inca world did not use money. Gold and minerals served only to honor Pachamama and were used as ritual ornaments. Africa, Asia, Native Americans, indigenous peoples, religions, and ancestral wisdom traditions share common ground... Thank you for helping us write this constitution. Even though we have been exploited, plundered, violated, and scorned... nothing can steal or destroy our freedom of thought or our fundamental nature as people worthy of respect. Each of us must help foster the awareness that we form a single cosmos. 1. Writing ✍️ costs almost nothing—just a computer and the work of one's fingers. 2. Thinking costs nothing, aside from the need to eat and to fast for deeper meditation. 3. Engaging in dialogue and working to read and learn about our commonalities costs nothing in the age of the Internet. If you wish to join our efforts, I remain at your disposal. Here in Latin America, the wind is rising among the native peoples. All the way to the Great Turtle 🐢— And indeed, all the turtles of the world; for my own country, Korea, is also known by that name. Let us slowly, gently, and patiently write this ideal world into existence. Our first deadline for the initial draft is September, coinciding with the election of the new UN Secretary-General. I am honored to have recently been appointed Secretary General of MICIC, tasked with bringing together the ancestral wisdom of African culture to help draft the first great global constitution alongside all our peace-loving friends..news ancestrale
