Les Amateurs virtuoses Piano festival

A few weeks ago, the “Amateurs virtuoses” had the privilege of performing at the Ehrbar Palace in Vienna—the video recordings will be released shortly on the festival’s YouTube channel. Here’s a little preview! :)

The final round of the “Klavierforum” piano competition, of which “Les Amateurs virtuoses” is a partner, will take place at the same Ehrbar Palace on November 20, 2026.

Registration is open to all amateur pianists over the age of 20 (no upper limit!) who can demonstrate that they are (or have been) employed in a profession unrelated to piano performance. The selection of the 10 finalists will be made on video: *you have until July 1st, 2026 to register and submit your application videos*.

The top three winners will receive cash awards (4000€ in total), and all finalists will be invited to a joint workshop led by Prof. Markus Prause.
