𝗭𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗖𝗼-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 🇺🇦
Yesterday, we hosted an online exchange dedicated to co-producing with Ukraine, bringing together EPC members for a timely and insightful discussion on current opportunities, initiatives and collaboration frameworks.
The session focused in particular on the European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films (ESFUF) that has just published a call for production support open until 26 June: https://esfuf.eu/how-to-apply/
Representatives of the CNC - Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée, including Michel Plazanet and Solène Tardieu, presented the fund's objectives, eligibility criteria and potential opportunities for European producers looking to work with Ukrainian partners.
Manon Duverger, French expert currently working with the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture, shared valuable perspectives on Ukraine's evolving audiovisual landscape and ongoing efforts to support cinema and international co-production.
We were also pleased to hear from several Ukrainian EPC members, who enriched the conversation with first-hand insights into the projects, initiatives and realities of working in the sector today. Thanks to 2Brave Productions / Natalia Libet, Space Productions, and UPHub (Ukrainian Producers Hub) in particular.
A rich and engaging session that provided both practical guidance and a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges of co-producing with Ukraine today.
A warm thank you to all those who contributed to the discussion and shared their experiences.
