We are pleased to share a new webinar capsule from the launch of the Art to Face Observatory.
In this inspiring intervention, Joel Bergner, CEO and Co-Founder of Artolution, shares experiences from community-based art programmes developed with Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.
Through participatory mural projects and collective art-making initiatives, this conversation explores how creative practices can support psychosocial well-being, resilience and community connection in refugee camp contexts.

We are pleased to share a new webinar capsule from the launch of the Art to Face Observatory. In this powerful intervention, Gaël Conan, Regional Director Middle East at Bibliothèques Sans Frontières / Libraries Without Borders US (LWB US), reflects on the rebirth of the Daraya Library in Syria and explores how culture, arts, education and access to knowledge can support resilience, social cohesion and peacebuilding in post-conflict contexts.

From underground libraries created during the siege of Daraya to current reconstruction initiatives, this discussion highlights the essential role of culture as a space for dignity, memory and collective rebuilding.

Call for Contributions - Art to Face Webinar Series 2026
Art to Face invites researchers, artists, educators and practitioners to contribute to its Online Showcase & Webinar Series: Arts, Education and Cultural Practices in Crisis and Post-Conflict Contexts.

The series highlights initiatives developed in contexts of conflict, crisis and displacement, and creates an international space for dialogue on the role of culture and arts education in MHPSS, memory and peacebuilding.

We welcome proposals presenting research, artistic projects, community initiatives or humanitarian field experiences.
