🏥 A Resounding Success! Our Community Outreach Program in Barra, Lucena City 🏥

The College of Nursing and Pharmacy of Sacred Heart College of Lucena City, in a powerful partnership with the Philippine Association of Diabetes Care and Education Nurse Specialists (PADCENS), is proud to announce the success of our recent community outreach program held earlier today, August 24, 2025.

We extended our hands and hearts to the wonderful residents of the Barranian Community in Barra, Lucena City. Our dedicated team of faculty and PADCENS,PADE DP Lucena members came together with a shared mission: to promote health, prevent illness, and empower the community with knowledge.

The services we provided included:
✔️ Blood Pressure Monitoring
✔️ Blood Sugar Screening
✔️ Body Fat Analysis
✔️ Informative Health Lectures
✔️ One-on-One Consultations

We extend our deepest gratitude to:

Last July 19, 2025, we successfully held a meaningful community event at Casa Comunidad de Tayabas, Tayabas City, in line with this year’s theme: "Breaking the Barriers, Bridging the Gaps" 🩺💙

This joint project was made possible through the collaboration of:

✅ Philippine Association of Diabetes Care & Education Nurse Specialists (PADCENS) - National & Quezon Chapter
✅ City Health Office - Sweethearts Club.. in cooperation with:

✅ ANSAP Quezon Chapter

Together, we served 70 patients with:

JUST IN: PADCENS National Inc. CARAVAN 2025 Brings Free Health Services to Purok Puting Buhangin, Cotta, Lucena City!

The PADCENS Caravan 2025 continues its mission of service with Activity #5, this time reaching 50 patients in Purok Puting Buhangin, Cotta, Lucena City!

Residents received free check-ups, diabetes education, blood sugar testing, fat analysis, and blood pressure monitoring—all aimed at promoting better health and preventing chronic diseases.

This successful event was made possible through the collaboration of:
✅ PADCENS - PADE Quezon
✅ Diabetes Philippines - Lucena Chapter
✅ ANSAP Quezon Chapter (represented by Ms. Judith De San Andres)
✅ PADE National
✅ DepEd Nurses (represented by Sir Yvan Jona Tolentino)
