is seeking a skilled and motivated Laotian (individual or legal entity) to support awareness-raising among rural communities on the health and environmental risks associated with use, as well as on safer pesticide practices and alternatives.
The consultant will work closely with CCL to develop engaging and accessible content and an appropriate dissemination approach tailored to rural communities.

The requires demonstrated experience in and content development, including production and , with the ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate communication materials.

is seeking for a skilled and motivated (consultancy) for a study on use in province. The purpose of this is to conduct a survey on current and historical farming practices, as well as on farmers’ adaptation and mitigation strategies in response to the issues raised by the extensive use of agrochemicals. This study will be carried out as part of a consulting arrangement between the CCL and a field surveyor/researcher, who will be mainly responsible for conducting the various group and individual interviews in the villages surveyed.

🌊 AGIRE lauréat de l'Appel à Initiatives « Living With Rivers » 2026

Le CCL est heureux d'annoncer que son projet AGIRE (Appui à la Gestion Intégrée des Ressources en Eau), mis en œuvre dans le bassin de la Namsa (Province de Bolikhamxay, Laos), fait partie des lauréats 2026 de l'Appel à Initiatives Living With Rivers, porté par l'IAGF (Initiatives pour l'Avenir des Grands Fleuves).

Cette labellisation vient récompenser l'approche participative et inclusive du projet, qui accompagne 10 villages (7 811 habitants) du bassin dans une gestion durable de leurs ressources en eau, en lien direct avec la préservation du Mékong.

Grâce à cette dotation, AGIRE va pouvoir déployer sur le bassin l'approche TerriStories® — un jeu sérieux participatif permettant aux communautés de co-construire elles-mêmes leurs plans d'action de gestion de l'eau et d'adaptation au changement climatique.

Un grand merci à nos partenaires RDA et OiEau, ainsi qu'à nos bailleurs (AFD, Agence de l'Eau Rhin-Meuse, Fondation Groupe EDF, Ville de Paris) et au soutien d’IAGF qui rendent ce projet possible !

CCL is happy to announce that its Waterwise project (Integrated Water Resources Management Support), implemented in the Nam Sa basin (Bolikhamxay Province, Laos), has been selected as a 2026 laureate of the Living With Rivers Call for Initiatives, led by IAGF (Initiatives for the Future of Great Rivers).

This recognition rewards the project's participatory and inclusive approach, which supports 10 villages (7,811 residents) in the basin toward sustainable management of their water resources, directly linked to the preservation of the Mekong.

Thanks to this grant, Waterwise will be able to roll out the TerriStories® approach across the Namsa basin — a participatory serious game enabling communities to co-design their own water management and climate change adaptation action plans.
Many thanks to our partners RDA and OiEau, as well as our donors (AFD, Rhin-Meuse Water Agency, Fondation Groupe EDF, City of Paris) and the support of IAGF who make this project possible!

Premier Secrétaire de l’Ambassade du Laos à Paris, en charge des affaires économiques et commerciales. Diplomate spécialisé dans la promotion des investissements et la coopération internationale, il représente le Laos dans plusieurs forums multilatéraux (UNESCO, OCDE) et travaille notamment sur l'incitation des investissements directs dans les secteurs de l’énergie verte et de la logistique.

Dans le cadre du cycle de conférences Laos, organisé par le Centre d'Etude et de Recherche sur les Littératures et les Oralités du Monde (CERLOM) et le Comité de coopération avec le Laos (CCL).

These zones serve as hubs for the industry, with the participation of foreign investors. They play a crucial role in diversifying the country’s economic activities.

🎙️ Speaker: Mr. Thanouxay Keovilay
First Secretary at the Lao Embassy in Paris, in charge of economic and commercial affairs. A diplomat specializing in investment promotion and international cooperation, he represents Laos in several multilateral forums (UNESCO, OECD) and works in particular to attract foreign direct investment in the green energy and logistics sectors.

As part of the Laos conference series, organized by the Center for the Study and Research of World Literatures and Oral Traditions (CERLOM) and the Cooperation Committee with Laos (CCL).
