We honestly got tired of the old system of how charities work: slow, full of red tape, and top-heavy (your donations going to top-level management). We have enough resources in the world but it’s not being shared equally. It’s time to start acting like global citizens and having an honest look at the growing divide between the ultra-wealthy and developing countries

This is our incredible team .qudaih2 in Gaza.
In these photos, we are doing field research to find our next Child-Friendly Space in Gaza City a place where a child can be seen, loved, and allowed to simply be a child, even if it’s just for a couple of hours.

These spaces are incredibly important for a child’s mental well-being and helping to heal their hearts after enduring/witnessing war.

🌍 **UPDATE from our frontline staff member* 🌍

Today, we stand in solidarity with the courageous women of Afghanistan who are facing yet another oppressive decree from the Taliban. The new law forcing women to cover their faces is a direct attack on their freedom, dignity, and identity.

We refuse to remain silent as these fundamental rights are stripped away. Every woman deserves the freedom to express herself, to live without fear, and to have her voice heard.

To the women of Afghanistan: We see you. We hear you. We stand with you. Your fight is our fight, and together, we will not back down.

Instant Aid is partners with WCK and we have worked with Zomi on several activations. She was an incredible force and has helped millions of people access the basic human right of food. National Doctors Day 🌎🩺

Today is dedicated to acknowledging the dedication and compassion of doctors around the world, and their supporting networks who work tirelessly to heal, care and look after others.

At Instant Aid, we not only have a global team that we network with continuously throughout our projects on the ground in war-torn and humanitarian disasters, but we also have dedicated full-time doctors that are stationed at key sites to give ongoing help and support to they communities they have been assigned to. This is a part of our long-term strategy to ensure communities are supported from the time of crisis into the future.

One of these is our doctor based at Salam Cafe. Not only is a he healer to the hundreds of street children and families that pour through the cafe each day, he is a beacon of hope for the community.

Providing medical care, wellness and mental health check-ups, and offering a kind ear to listen to those who need it the most. It’s in these moments that you can see the hardship experienced as a chance to heal and transform.

It’s on this day that we extend our gratitude to him for his dedication to Salam Cafe and its community, and to all the doctors who make a difference in the lives of others every single day.

Thank you to our teams for your unwavering commitment to healing and compassion, and to our own community of supporters for ensuring they can continue their good work 🩵

This is an incredible before, and after photo of what basic medical assistance, love and care can do for a child. This is Zainab she has a serious eye condition which causes bad, headaches, and pain in her eye. We recently purchased eyeglasses to help reduce her pain and Zainab is already feeling much better. We couldn’t do this work without all your incredible support. you

We stand united with the women of Afghanistan. As a lot of you know we run a cafe in Kabul serving only street working kids(boys and girls). We provide a safe space where the kiddos feels loved and seen. We are devastated by the recent ban on girls and women’s education. What will happen to the street working girls when they can’t come to Salam Cafe- they will starve without our help. Our hearts are breaking 💔
