MM-003 - Rose
For its third release, Much More delivers Rose — a six-track compilation that captures the label’s uncompromising vision of techno: raw, hypnotic, emotionally resonant. Each cut is crafted with purpose, from peak-time propulsion to introspective depth. No filler. No compromise. Just techno at its finest.
On the A-side, Johannes Astrup — co-owner, booker, and resident of Copenhagen’s underground stronghold Den Anden Side — opens with Protocol, a tension-driven workout built on surgical groove and immersive pressure. A weapon forged in the heart of the club.
Booz, artist, DJ, and producer emerging from the Italian techno underground, channels his roots as a drummer and his love for analog sound into Restore — a tight, groove-driven cut that reflects his precise touch as both producer and head of Prophet Recordings.
Temudo, a leading force in Portuguese techno and also the mastering engineer behind the compilation, joins forces with Svarog, the Lviv-based producer known for his mystical and immersive soundscapes, for Auditory Euphoria — a deep, slow-burning collaboration that fuses precision and atmosphere into a hypnotic descent.
On the B-side, The Gambler, long-time ally of the Much More label and co-organizer of countless parties in Paris, makes his debut on the imprint with Ion — a dazzling IDM excursion from a magician in the studio, known for his releases on several forward-thinking netlabels.
Audiokast, Paris-based party promoter with Point Breakers, returns for his second appearance on the label with WXKLSD part.2 — a heavy-hitting, high-intensity piece driven by massive drops and relentless energy, crafted for peak-time impact.
Torn, known for his cutting-edge releases on Samurai Music, closes the record with Metahemeralism — a deep, cinematic halftime piece that blends mental sound design with a sense of narrative tension. A unique addition Much More was eager to bring into its universe.
This release carries a deliberate contrast between the two sides of the record: one rooted in classic 4x4 techno, the other venturing into more broken, experimental territories. It’s a statement of intent — a glimpse into the breadth of sonic landsca
