Travel diary: our latest prevention campaign.

Three days in the field, from early morning departures to the last patients of the day.

From meeting local communities to setting up our clinics, welcoming patients and running prevention sessions, every day brought its own challenges and encounters.

And the numbers tell part of the story:

576 medical consultations
112 ECGs performed
51 ultrasound exams
53 free medicine distributions

But behind every number are people, conversations, smiles and moments shared with the communities we met.

A big thank you to our medical teams, local partners and everyone working behind the scenes to make these campaigns possible.

Making sure everyone and everything gets where they need to be on campaign day? ✅

From the first scouting trip to the day of the campaign, Olivier makes sure everything runs smoothly on the ground.

This World Heart Day, we’re taking action together. ❤️

On September 29, The Heart Fund and the Foundation Didier Drogba are joining forces in Anyama, Côte d’Ivoire, for a day dedicated to cardiovascular prevention and screening.

On the programme: prevention and awareness, cardiovascular risk screening, medical consultations, ECGs and ultrasounds when needed, as well as medical guidance and follow-up.

We’re especially proud to launch this first field action together with the Fondation Didier Drogba, with the ambition to bring more prevention and screening initiatives to communities across Côte d’Ivoire.

Good oral hygiene is an important part of overall health, and prevention starts with simple everyday habits.

During our campaigns, we are proud to provide children and families with toothbrushes and toothpaste, helping them build healthy habits from an early age.
