A wonderful evening spent at St George’s Church in Paris for the Autumn Quarterly Meeting of The British Community Committee of France ✨
It was wonderful to connect with representatives both in the room and via video. Highlights of the night included:
• The unveiling of the new 2026–2027 burgundy directory by Chairman Andrew Simpkin (featuring ~120 member organisations!).
• An overview by Helen Bilby Orrin on directory distribution points across France — including the Embassy, consulates, bookshops, pubs, and churches.
• Welcoming John Darlison as incoming Honorary Treasurer, replacing Matthew Kay.
• Consular updates regarding 5-year Withdrawal Agreement Residence Permits on behalf of Pamela Deegan BEM.
• Presentations from Paul Johnson-Ferguson (new Chairman of the Hertford British Charitable Fund) and Edward Bell (newly appointed President of British Freemasons in France).
We wrapped up the meeting with w**e, nibbles, and the opportunity to network with other members.
Thank you to everyone who joined! 🍷🧀
