Synapse, Paris School of Economics Student Association Synapse is your student association, you can join us to organize the events and contribute to strengthen the PSE community.

SYNAPSE was born, and the association was named this way (though some people claim it originally stands for Students and Young Nerds Association) as its first aim is to connect all students from the school, from all Master and PhD programs. The association also aims at easing your everyday life on Campus Jourdan. Its representatives will do their best to make the PSE a most favorable education and

research place. Obviously, all students are very much encouraged to help us and participate to the association life.

WELCOME WEEKS đŸ””â˜€ïž

Take your calendars ! Here is a look through the Synapse program for your welcome weeks in PSE ! In order to get to know each other better before the intense studying ahead of us, we prepared a few activities to start the month of September together :)

08.09 - 4pm - PSE Garden 48 Boulevard Jourdan - Buddy Garden Party ! Small gathering to start the PSE family life and meet before Welcome day :)) Bring small snacks and drink if you’d like

09.09 - PSE and Parc Montsouris - During the welcome day, a stand to meet us with PSE merch (new bottles + stickers !) will wait for you in the Hall, and after your welcome day at PSE we invite you to spend a little more time together in the Parc Montsouris (next to PSE) with a couple of snacks and drinks

12.09 - 4pm30 - PSE R1-12 - Afternoon meeting to get to know SYNAPSE better and see if you would like to join the team :)) with some snacks of course

13.09 - 7pm - Quais de Seine (address to come)- Our traditional Wine and Cheese party, bring your best french apéro to spend a Parisian night near the Seine

15.09 - 4pm - 1st arrondissement - « Découvrir Paris » team scavenger hunt organized by us, with a prize for the winning team, that will end with drinks for everyone in the Tuileries Parc ! (registering sheet will be passed down soon :))

18.09 - 8pm - Le Fleurus (10 Boulevard Jourdan) - KARAOKE NIIIIGHT !! Nothing more to add. (Due to limited number of spots in the bar, a registering sheet will be passed down in the following days)

20.09 - 8pm - Les caractĂšres (25 rue des Grands Augustins) - Bar night to dance one last time before studying hard..

21 & 22.09 - Paris - European Heritage days, Parisian historical buildings will be open to visit exceptionnellement this week-end ! We propose a grouped registering in the best ones of them (registering happens very soon ! Keep an eye open, Groups will be created in the WhatsApp community)

During those weeks as well, elections for the new board of Synapse will be organized, more info will come out soon.

We are really exited to organize those events to get to know each other in September !😀 We hope to spend great times together even though we would like the holidays to never end ://
