🌍 In 2025, the World Coalition is launching a new joint action as part of the campaign. This year, members chose the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as the focus country.

✊ On October 10 — World Day Against the Death Penalty — we stand in solidarity with human rights defenders in the DRC. Together, we call on the authorities to protect civic space and reinstate an official moratorium on executions.

Today is World Day Against the Death Penalty !

This year, we emphasize that the death penalty protects no one. It’s a practice that fails to deter crime, perpetuates cycles of violence, and targets the most vulnerable in society.

Let’s use this day to stand together, raise our voices, and demand an end to this inhumane practice. Share this poster and join the movement to abolish the death penalty worldwide.
