Discover the 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐣 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥: A 42 km journey through wetlands, farms, forests, and scenic villages, embodying the depth of our cultural heritage. This trail is rich with mythological lore, woven with stories of Basuki Naag, the gods Indra, Brahma, Shiva, and more—each bringing the spirit of ancient legends to life.

It was a pleasure to connect with Dr. Jay Sah, researcher professor at Florida International University. We had the opportunity to learn about his present and past works on wetlands research and restoration. His feedback and words of encouragement has further fueled us to work for the conservation of wetlands!

We had a wonderful time at the World Food Forum 2024 at the FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy.

We got to connect with this year’s cohort of Youth Food Lab as an alumni of the same. Networking with great minds working to tackle climate and food issues was a great opportunity.

Thank you Maria Kolesina for your support throughout. It was also great to connect with David Mornout and Bruno E. Ferreira C.

Few but joyous days to be with Rio Pals, Mirjam Troost, and the WUR Student Challenges team at Wageningen University & Research. Our team, Wetlands for Nepal got started with WUR’s student challenges back in 2022 and their constant support and motivation has been vital for our initiative.

We were fortunate to have also met Arun Pratihast and learn more about innovative initiatives at WUR.

We also got a chance to meet up with our very first mentor, Jitse Bijlmakers from the student challenges. We explored Utrech with him through its intricate canal systems.

Thank you John Hummel for encouraging our visit to WUR and being a wonderful mentor!

Our team's climate solution for urban flood resilience in Kathmandu Valley was showcased on Conférence Climat, Alimentation et Citoyens at the prestigious Académie du Climat - Ville de Paris!

We're incredibly proud of our team members for presenting their innovative approach of using rain gardens to mitigate urban flood risks.

A big thank you to EGIS Foundation for providing this valuable platform. We also extend our gratitude to Make Sense for their invaluable support throughout the workshops.

We wish the team all the best for rest if their trip in Europe.

📝📖 Building upon this rich narrative and seeking to document additional cultural stories of mythology, we are excited to announce our project, "𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡: 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐣 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧." This initiative aims to promote eco-tourism 🌿🚶🏽‍♀️🚶🏽‍♂️ by exploring the journey of across different places of Nepal.

We are honored to have been awarded 🏆 the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 by Chatham House to support this endeavor.
