🎉 Celebrating 10 years of impact with United Way España! Last week, our colleagues from United Way Spain team brought together a decade of partnership, dedication, and community action at Nebrija University. Looking back at where it all began in 2016 with 45 volunteers, the journey has been nothing short of inspiring. In 2025 alone, United Way Spain engaged 1,807 volunteers who contributed 8,759 hours, positively impacting 13,892 beneficiaries. Over these 10 years, more than 60 corporate partners and hundreds of social entities have joined forces to prove that collective action truly transforms communities. Thank you to all the companies, social organizations, volunteers, and collaborators who have been part of this extraordinary decade. Together, you’ve shown that when we build on what others contribute, the impact multiplies. Here’s to the next 10 years of weaving networks, driving change, and deepening our community impact across Spain and beyond. Weaving networks, multiplying impact. United is the Way!

United Way Magyarország and Grundfos are joining forces to make a tangible difference in local schools! Ahead of the new school year, dedicated volunteers from Grundfos collaborated with United Way Hungary at the Old Town Primary School in Tatabánya to modernize the student restrooms. The team installed modern water-saving faucets, painted radiators in vibrant colors, and added eco-conscious wall stickers filled with practical sustainability tips for the children. This impactful project is just the beginning, with the team preparing to make upgrades to four additional institutions this autumn.

The competition, launched by the European Commission earlier this year, recognizes outstanding sports-related initiatives that promote community engagement and support disadvantaged groups.

United Way España recently joined forces with Johnson & Johnson España for Cuidopía 2026, bringing together more than 200 volunteers across nine locations to support older adults through meaningful connections and shared experiences.
From intergenerational cooking activities to the creation of accessible community gardens, volunteers contributed over 470 hours of service, demonstrating the power of care, inclusion and community engagement.
Congratulations to all partners and volunteers who made this impactful initiative possible. 👏

Proud to see United Way in Italy and Eli Lilly and Company teaming up to make a tangible difference in Milan’s Gratosoglio neighbourhood. 27 Lilly employees volunteered to transform a local green space into a "laboratory of care." By planting an orchard and olive grove, they are helping create a safe, productive environment for over 300 young people to learn and grow. It’s a beautiful example of how hands-on corporate volunteering can provide local youth with a safe place to grow and a real sense of community support.

We are proud to highlight United Way España for their latest edition of , a project that shows how health is about much more than just medicine. By working together with volunteers from Eli Lilly and Company, they have created a safe space where women learn to take control of their well-being through nutrition and self-care. This initiative proves that when we offer both tools and companionship, we help people move from uncertainty to independence. It is a perfect example of how community support builds stronger, healthier lives.

A delegation of 12 representatives from the Grundfos, together with two colleagues from Grundfos Italia, visited the United Way in Italy team yesterday as part of the regional partnership “One Story Across Europe”. The program has great results, engaging more than double the originally planned number of primary school children in awareness activities, focused on the protection of water resources and the promotion of biodiversity! The enthusiasm of all participants was tangible, and we look forward to sharing further updates as the programme continues to grow and expand its impact.

We are proud to see מתן-משקיעים בקהילה united way Israel and Microsoft Israel R&D Center team up to provide much-needed relief for families from Kiryat Shmona. For those living in the constant stress of displacement—especially families caring for children with disabilities—a few days of quiet in a safe space isn't a luxury; it’s a necessity. This project shows that true partnerships represent also a commitment to showing up when and where people need it most.

לקראת חג הפסח, יצאנו במתן -משקיעים בקהילה (United Way Israel) יחד עם Microsoft Israel R&D Center במהלך מיוחד - הוצאת משפחות מקריית שמונה, בהן בני ובנות משפחה עם מוגבלויות, להפוגה במלונות לאורך ימי החג.

עבור משפחות שחיות כבר שבועות בתוך מציאות מורכבת של אפס זמן התראה, עומס רגשי ואתגרים יומיומיים, כמה ימים של שקט, יציאה מהשגרה, ומרחב בטוח לנשימה הם לא מותרות. הם צורך אמיתי.

זהו בדיוק המקום שבו חיבור בין עולם העסקים לקהילה יוצר שינוי מוחשי: תגובה מהירה לצורך שעולה מהשטח, התאמה מדויקת לאוכלוסיות שזקוקות לכך במיוחד והבנה ששותפות היא מעבר לתרומה - היא מחויבות!

גאים מאוד בשותפות עם מיקרוסופט, שממשיכה פעם אחר פעם להראות איך אחריות חברתית נראית בפועל.

On this International Children’s Book Day, we’re sharing a special story created by United Way Romania and BRD Groupe Societe Generale. Over the last three years, the "Adventure through Reading" project has turned empty rooms into cozy spots filled with over 2,000 books. But it’s about more than just the shelves—it’s about the BRD - Groupe Société Générale volunteers who took the time to sit with the children and read aloud. By sharing these stories, they’ve helped kids find the courage to dream big. We are so grateful for this partnership and the way it brings hope to the next generation.

Great initiative of United Way Romania as they participate in Timotion 2025 to support the "TAKING steps for the future II" project that aims to provide interactive workshops, vocational guidance and counselling for 60 children and 35 parents in rural communities, helping to reduce school dropout rates and build long-term confidence. Every contribution directly translates into tangible support for these families as they work toward a more stable future. Anul acesta alergăm cu sens și inimă pentru proiectul „FACEM pași pentru viitor II” – o inițiativă care aduce mai aproape de școală și de un viitor mai bun 60 de copii și 35 de părinți din comunitățile Gătaia și Șemlacu Mare, județul Timiș.

Prin activități de tip „școală după școală”, sprijin remedial, ateliere interactive, consiliere și orientare vocațională, copiii primesc nu doar ajutor la învățare, ci și încrederea că pot merge mai departe.

Fiecare pas alergat înseamnă o șansă în plus pentru ei.
