2 ans après sa sortie officielle THE BLUE QUEST PALAWAN continue de mettre en avant le travail de Sulubaaï, Tubbataha et C3 et à servir d’outil pour sensibiliser à tous les niveaux

On a mis les aires marines protégées sur le devant de la scène à l’UNOC🌍
Avec l’immense honneur d’être choisi pour parler à la tribune des Nations Unies!

Invités sur de nombreux évènements majeurs et on va continuer en 2026 avec déjà plusieurs rendez-vous pris💪

The Blue Quest at the United Nations Ocean Conference 🌊

Exactly 2 and half years after starting the small scale documentary project THE BLUE QUEST PALAWAN, last week at was the final step of this journey to highlight

And what a last step 💥

🌏 The Blue Quest was on many side events focused on effective ocean conservation with many inspiring partners

🏆Sulubaaï’s work was awarded with the GOLD Blue Park award by Marine Conservation Institute, the ultimate level of recognition for the best MPAs worldwide. Tubbataha (awarded in 2017) was also recognized for keeping up with the Blue Park Standard. We are so proud to be ambassadors of , an amazing team doing an incredible and crucial work!

🎙️The Blue Quest was selected to deliver an official statement on the 30x30 target during the plenary session of the (still not realizing it) 😅

Also, all the shorter documentaries we produced in Greece, Mozambique and the Philippines were screened in different side-events of the Conference 🎞️

THE BLUE QUEST PALAWAN has won dozens of film festival worldwide, was screened in many high-level events and is now online for free on Youtube 📱

As our dear friend Frédéric Tardieu would say : “the job is done”

But The Blue Quest work for MPAs globally is just starting, with our amazing partners and new projects incoming 🤝

This is not the end but actually the beginning, as there is so much that needs to be done. And we will be here to highlight it 🎥

Takeaways from UNOC3 : The incredible mobilization of civil society, NGOs, scientists and communities from all over the world is showing concrete solutions and pathways 💡
Many strong and crucial commitments as well from governments, member states and the financial world.
But we need to see these commitments transform into tangible actions, and the ressources reach real projects on the ground. Anything else would be senseless, regarding the actual critical state of the Ocean, and wasting a time we don’t have. It’s time to rise to the challenge 🌊

Accelerating Ocean Conservation: The 2025 Blue Park Awards at the UN Ocean Conf. in Nice, France

Blue Park Awards promote and celebrate marine protected area (MPA) quality achievement alongside MPA coverage. The Awards incentivize governments and communities to meet the rigorous science-based Blue Park Standard for conservation effectiveness and accelerate effective MPA coverage, supporting the Global Biodiversity Framework 30x30 target.

Marine Conservation Institute , together with the Republic of Costa Rica, the Ambition Coalition for Nature and People,EarthEcho International , MigraMar , and The Blue Quest , will host the 2025 Blue Park Awards event in the Blue Zone Ocean Conference.
