LESS THAN A MONTH TO GO 💛

On Sunday 8 November, Alex Huggins takes on the Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice–Cannes for Cancer Support Group 06. All 42.195 km of it. Solo.

It's his fourth year on this start line, running for cancer support. Last year he was part of our relay team. This year he's going the full distance on his own.

Every euro Alex raises helps us keep free, English-language cancer support going across the Alpes-Maritimes, Monaco and the eastern Var.

Today marks the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

It's a month that means different things to different people. Hope. Progress. Strength. But also grief, anxiety and memories that can be hard to revisit.

If this month feels difficult, please know that's okay.

Whether you're living with breast cancer, adjusting to life after treatment, supporting someone you love, or remembering someone you've lost, we're here for you. Our nurses are only a phone call away, and our online forum is always open, offering support, understanding and connection whenever you need it most.

💜 Applications are NOW OPEN to become an Active Listener with Cancer Support Group 06!

We're so excited to invite warm, caring people to train as Active Listeners — offering free, confidential emotional support in English to people affected by cancer across the Côte d'Azur.

You don't need any experience or a medical background — just warmth and a willingness to listen. Full training is provided over one weekend:

Becoming an Active Listener begins with a short application and selection process, so we can make sure it's the right fit for you and for the people we support. If you'd like to find out more or apply, we'd love to hear from you.
