Another pal from Perpignan, Océane is a cheerful member of the iGEM team, and she likes the most basic things to an unusual degree. As everyone, food is a part of her life that can’t be neglected, but nothing is ever easy considering that her love for it goes beyond common sense, to a point where she becomes picky about what she ingests. When she’s not working, eating or playing, it means that she sleeps soundly, as it is the best part of the day for her, according to our journalist. That is not the end of the simple things she likes in life, as talking to other people, no matter if it ends up in small talk or philosophical theories, is a huge part of her daily life. But not everything is white with her, considering that she gets angry and way too stubborn on something when it doesn’t work, and she might end up venting about it to other people. But the pain can’t even begin to compare to the one she feels when eating those strange vegetables called “spinach”. But no matter how much she vents about anything, the best part of the competition for her is either talking and finding how much the work is paying off, or when the code is finally working.
