DIVERSIFLORA INTERNATIONAL” has the following objectives:
• to strengthen the integration of the natural and cultural diversity in all areas of human activities, taking into account economic and social dimensions,
• to promote the conservation of biodiversity and local knowledge for present and future generations,
• to support the development of multifunctional landscapes, rich in biodiversity an
d local specificities,
• to contribute to the formalization of rights to cultural difference, protection of knowledge and local varieties, and a fair sharing of the earth,
• to encourage new forms of governance and social mobilization enhancing the natural and cultural diversity. Diversiflora aims to federate those who want to work for one or other of these objectives, whether for ethical, scientific, cultural or for other motivations. The association is independent from interests of any political, syndicate, religious or economic group. It operates on the entire territory of the Republic within the meaning of the Article 113-1 of the Penal Code, in international areas, and any area where it may help to defend its interests and goals.
