🇹🇳 La semaine dernière, l’équipe de l’AIFM était en mission en Tunisie pour faire avancer plusieurs actions des projets RESCOM et TAMKEEN, en étroite collaboration avec la Direction Générale des Forêts, les acteurs locaux et nos partenaires.
Dans le cadre du projet RESCOM, cette mission a permis de :
✅ Faire un point d’étape sur la mise en œuvre des activités de gestion durable au Parc national de Oued Ezzen ;
✅ Réaliser une visite de terrain avec les forestiers de l’Arrondissement forestier d’Aïn Draham afin de valider les emplacements des futurs aménagements de gestion des flux touristiques et de signalétique ;
✅ Tenir une séance de travail à la Direction Générale des Forêts pour préparer l’appel d’offres relatif à la maîtrise d’œuvre des aménagements ;
✅ Présenter le Plan de Gestion Environnemental et Social (PGES) du Parc national de Oued Ezzen, élaboré dans le cadre du projet.
🤝 La mission a également été l’occasion d’échanger avec l’équipe d'ADES dans le cadre du projet TAMKEEN. Une réunion de clôture a marqué la fin de la mission réalisée par CORRECT Agri sur les thématiques de préservation de la biodiversité et de promotion des produits locaux, avant une séance de travail consacrée à la validation des prochaines étapes du projet.
Ces avancées concrètes témoignent de la dynamique engagée pour concilier préservation des ressources naturelles, développement local durable et valorisation des territoires forestiers.

🇹🇳 Last week, the AIFM team was in Tunisia to advance key activities under the RESCOM and TAMKEEN projects, working closely with the General Directorate of Forests, local stakeholders and project partners.
As part of the RESCOM project, the mission provided an opportunity to:
✅ Review progress on the implementation of sustainable management activities in Oued Ezzen National Park;
✅ Conduct a field visit with the forestry officers of the Aïn Draham Forest District to validate the locations of upcoming visitor flow management and signage facilities;
✅ Hold a working session with the General Directorate of Forests to prepare the tender process for the design and supervision of these facilities;
✅ Present the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) for Oued Ezzen National Park, developed within the framework of the RESCOM project.
🤝 The mission also included several activities under the TAMKEEN project. A closing meeting was held following the mission carried out by CORRECT Agri, which focused on strengthening the capacities of ADES members on biodiversity conservation and the promotion of local products. The team also met with ADES representatives to review project progress and validate the next implementation steps.
These activities reflect the strong commitment of all partners to promoting sustainable natural resource management, biodiversity conservation and local development in Tunisia’s forest landscapes.
