Voiture 14 VOITURE 14 is a non-profit project for contemporary artistic practices located in MARSEILLE.

Voiture 14 is a project space based in Marseille and founded in 2018 by curator Myriam Mokdes. Conceived as an experimental curatorial platform, it bears witness to the plurality of actions formulated by artists and art workers and the multiplicity of supports, mediums and tools they use. Its vocation is to promote and give an account of the emerging practices that nourish the art of meetings and

collaborations. The program is interested in deconstructing the socio-cultural and economic schemes where artists and projects configure specific alternatives that we are interested in thinking, formulating, questioning and sharing.

Voiture 14, installé dans un ancien bar de cheminots, au 14 rue des Héros à Marseille, se veut être le support d’un imaginaire collectif en constante évolution, un lieu vivant, indépendant, une résidence d’artistes et un vivier de formats curatoriaux divers. Un lieu de production et de publication qui a pour but de promouvoir la scène artistique contemporaine émergente, locale et internationale. Ce projet, est un point d’ancrage en plein centre de Marseille, à travers une programmation exigeante et expérimentale, vitrine de l’élan foisonnant et nomade de l’art actuel.

Voiture 14, situated in a former rail workers bar, at 14 Rue des Heros in Marseille, (is) a collective imaginary in constant evolution, a lively, independent place, with artists in residence and a pool of diverse curatorial projects. A place of production and publishing that has as a goal the promotion of the emerging artistic scene, locally as well as internationally.This project is an anchor in the heart of Marseille, through a demanding and experimental programme, a display of abundant momentum and nomadic art.
