The time has come for us to wave goodbye to Lourdes ! We have had a truly magical week filled with laughter and friendship but now it is time to go home!

At the airport, we made friendship bracelets and compared peg hats!

What a roarsome time at the animal park this afternoon!

It turns out we have some animal whisperers in our group! Can you spot the different animals we pretended to be?

We were all very tired from the excitement that we had a chill evening in and finished our Lourdes books!

It has been a very busy final day here in Lourdes! We started by going to the grotto and lighting candles. Our group candle was still there, burning proudly!

After that, we went on the Petit Train. Dave led the singing - who knew Old Macdonald had a hawk on his farm? 🤔

A busy afternoon at the Fun Zone and then splitting up to go shopping! We finished with a drink and ice cream before joining the Blessed Sacrament procession.

TRUST MASS DAY!!

We all love coming together as one .c.p.t family for Trust Mass! 💜💚💜

We were excited to find the Polish groups for one of our VIPS who had a lovely conversation with them before getting a picture!

We had a picnic on the prairie for lunch today and we're joined by some Salesian friends for games! After that, we went to the Big Sing and had lots of fun dancing and singing!!

Sing it in the valleys!

Hosanna House was splendid in the sunshine this morning! Everyone enjoyed the petting zoo and getting their face painted, even Deacon Andrei! We had some extra helpers today including Cameron from the Salesians and our very own Noah!!

Mass in the chapel at Hosanna House is always incredibly special, especially so today as it was just our group together 💜💚💜

This afternoon, we celebrated mass with the rest of our Met East family. It was lovely to see Deacon Andrei helping Fr Michael to say mass (Fr Michael travelled with us for a week in 2008) and Dorian altar serving.

After, we headed for our group photo before we lit our group candle 🕯. We all said prayers for our loved ones and then headed for an ice cream!

It was beautiful weather for a water ceremony this morning! Bishop Alan and Deacon Andrei led us and we blessed each other with the water.

After that, we had some fun in the sun with prairie games - parachute gamed and cricket being the most popular!

We met a very special person whilst eating our ice cream! Peter Strode, the brother of Brother Michael who founded HCPT, stopped to have a chat and see how our week was getting on! Of course, we gave him a 192 badge and had a quick photo.

We are very grateful to Brother Michael for giving us all the opportunity to be here and his memory lives on in every smiling face and rendition of Rise and Shine.

A busy afternoon wandering around the old town of Lourdes! We started with a visit to the Cachot before a tour of Bernadette's childhood home with an AR video! We headed down to the Domain for our first mass of the week with Bishop Alan and Deacon Andrei with lots of singing and we put our group names onto our banner. After this, we walked through the grotto, feeling the stone and looking at the spring of water. We finished with a cafe stop before heading back to the hotel to complete our Lourdes books!
