Lourdes Day 2

Many of us visited the baths at Lourdes, arriving three hours in advance to secure a spot.

As they say, you only need a drop of the holy water, for it is actually the prayers that sanctify and unearth its healing capacity. So we prayed for three hours, the rosary in a multiplicity of languages, with (mostly) women from all over the world. Barriers fall away, separation dissolves into a unity of consciousness, in the spirit of flowing waters.

We offered and spoke our heartfelt intentions to the Mother. For ourselves, for all of us, and… let it be…unfolding in the warmth of her Love and Presence.

We ended the day in walking meditation and prayer with thousands of other pilgrims, beseeching the Mother for peace on earth and peace in hearts📿 🕊️❤️

Divine Feminine Pilgrimage ✨

Our journey began in Paris.

Last evening, we gathered at the Miraculous Medal Chapel and the Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul. The naked vulnerability of devotion itself is so deeply moving.

There is something about watching human beings reach beyond what is seen toward a Presence they trust can hold them in their deepest need.

As Christian mystics, we do not simply contemplate Mary as an idea or historical figure. We enter into relationship with her as a living spiritual reality—a Universal Mother who contains the complexity and diversity of our human experience

Today, beneath the soaring beauty of Notre-Dame, we prayed the Rosary together with a community from all over the world.

We contemplated the image of the Pietà, after the fire of Notre-Dame, amid the destruction and uncertainty, the image of Mary holding her crucified son endured. The Mother of Sorrows remained.

What does this image offer you?

Perhaps it points to something indestructible within us. The capacity to remain present to suffering without turning away. The courage to hold grief with tenderness. The part of the soul that can stand in the ashes and still love.

The Mother of Sorrows is not only a figure before us. She lives within us. She is the heart that breaks and remains open. The love that endures. The resilience that survives the fire.

Devotion is not weakness but strength; not escape but deeper participation in the mystery of being human.

Grateful for this community of women and men walking together in wonder, contemplation, prayer, and love.
