🌍 World Humanitarian Day 💚
🌱Today, we want to recognise not only our incredible volunteers and the wonderful humans who give their time, but all the organisations and individuals who do whatever they can to support people in need.
🌱Because humanitarian work is never done alone.
🌱This week, we were fortunate to receive first aid training delivered by No Border Medicsand we’ve also recently had a brilliant training session with Project Play. Different organisations, different skills, but one shared purpose: to help.
🌱And that same spirit applies to donations. 🌱We never want to say no simply because we can’t use something ourselves. If we don’t need it, we work to get it to someone who does — whether that’s another group in Dunkirk or Calais, or organisations elsewhere across Europe.
🌱Through our connections, support moves across borders in both directions.
🌱Because without humanitarians, volunteers and grassroots organisations, tens of thousands of people every single day would be left in situations far more precarious than they need to be.
🌱No politics. No agendas.
🌱Just people helping people.💚
🌱Yesterday and always, we celebrate every person who gives their time, skills, resources or compassion to make someone else’s life a little safer, a little easier, or a little more dignified.
