To everyone who supported Sous la Lune this year — our adopters, foster families, volunteers, donors, and everyone who shared our posts or sent us encouraging words —none of this would be possible without you.
Because of you, animals found safety, care, love, and hope. Every rescue, every second chance, every small victory was made possible by this incredible community.

Alors que l’année touche à sa fin, nous souhaitions prendre un moment pour vous dire merci, du fond du cœur.
À toutes les personnes qui ont soutenu Sous la Lune cette année — nos adoptants, familles d’accueil, bénévoles, donateurs, ainsi que celles et ceux qui ont partagé nos publications ou nous ont envoyé des mots d’encouragement — rien de tout cela ne serait possible sans vous.

🐾💔❤️‍🩹RIP Aldo 2015-2025💔❤️‍🩹
Today we said goodbye to a special soul. 🐾

His second chance family gave him everything in the 4 years they spent with him.
When Aldo was rescued he was blind with eye infections and ulcerations and was only predicted to live another 6 or so months at most.
He amazed everyone. His life changed forever when he was adopted, but he also changed the lives of his adopters beyond belief.

✨The Beauty of a Second Chance✨

There’s something truly magical about rescuing an animal. You don’t just bring them into your home—you bring them into your heart. ❤️

When you first meet a rescue, you see the worry in their eyes… the hesitation… the “has the world stopped hurting me?” kind of look. And then, slowly—sometimes all at once—you watch that fear melt into trust. Into love. Into a version of them that feels safe enough to finally be themselves.
That transformation? It’s pure magic. 🌟
But what no one tells you is how much you change too.
You learn patience. You learn joy in small victories. You learn that healing is a two-way street. You start to see your own life through softer eyes—because when you help them rebuild their world, they somehow help rebuild yours too. 🐾

Rescuing an animal isn’t just giving them a second chance.
It’s giving yourself one.

Here’s to the ones who were once broken, but now run with full hearts… and to the people who dared to love them back to life. 💛

❤️ UPDATE: UNDER ADOPTION NOW

🔴 URGENT – HOME NEEDED FOR YOUNG FEMALE CAT🔴

🙏Can anybody help her?🙏

🐾We are URGENTLY looking for a loving adoptive home ASAP — or failing that, a foster family — for a sweet long haired young female cat, approx. 1.5–2 years old.🐾

She is currently being fed and cared for by a very kind lady in Puivert, but she is returning to the UK on 15 December, and then she will be left completely alone outside after that date.

💖 We are desperate to get this little girl into a loving home before then, so she can be on a warm lap this Christmas 🎄🎁
She is gentle, friendly, and just needs someone to give her security and affection.

🏡 Looking for: Adoption or foster
⏳ Urgent deadline: Before 15 December
💶 Small adoption fee: includes sterilisation, microchip, and flea/worm/tick treatment.
