🐾💔❤️‍🩹RIP Aldo 2015-2025💔❤️‍🩹
Today we said goodbye to a special soul. 🐾

His second chance family gave him everything in the 4 years they spent with him.
When Aldo was rescued he was blind with eye infections and ulcerations and was only predicted to live another 6 or so months at most.
He amazed everyone. His life changed forever when he was adopted, but he also changed the lives of his adopters beyond belief.

✨The Beauty of a Second Chance✨

There’s something truly magical about rescuing an animal. You don’t just bring them into your home—you bring them into your heart. ❤️

When you first meet a rescue, you see the worry in their eyes… the hesitation… the “has the world stopped hurting me?” kind of look. And then, slowly—sometimes all at once—you watch that fear melt into trust. Into love. Into a version of them that feels safe enough to finally be themselves.
That transformation? It’s pure magic. 🌟
But what no one tells you is how much you change too.
You learn patience. You learn joy in small victories. You learn that healing is a two-way street. You start to see your own life through softer eyes—because when you help them rebuild their world, they somehow help rebuild yours too. 🐾

Rescuing an animal isn’t just giving them a second chance.
It’s giving yourself one.

Here’s to the ones who were once broken, but now run with full hearts… and to the people who dared to love them back to life. 💛

🔴 URGENT – HOME NEEDED FOR YOUNG FEMALE CAT🔴

🙏Can anybody help her?🙏

🐾We are URGENTLY looking for a loving adoptive home ASAP — or failing that, a foster family — for a sweet long haired young female cat, approx. 1.5–2 years old.🐾

She is currently being fed and cared for by a very kind lady in Puivert, but she is returning to the UK on 15 December, and then she will be left completely alone outside after that date.

💖 We are desperate to get this little girl into a loving home before then, so she can be on a warm lap this Christmas 🎄🎁
She is gentle, friendly, and just needs someone to give her security and affection.

🌸 Poppy & Triangle: A Story of Second Chances 🌸

18 months ago, Sous La Lune found a feral cat in a field — so weak she could barely lift her head to eat. We rushed her to the vet, where we learned she was pregnant… but heartbreakingly, none of her babies survived.

She was covered in fleas, ticks, and was suffering from major breathing difficulties , along with other infections , the vet didn’t think she’d make it through the night. We named her Poppy, and a kind volunteer took her home to give her peace in her final days....

But those “final days” turned into 18 months.
And Poppy? She thrived.💗

She slowly gained strength, found her voice, and became queen of her new little village life.

Then, something amazing happened.

🐾 A young kitten appeared at our door, all alone.
And Poppy did something incredible — she adopted her on the spot.

She nuzzled into her, shared her food, and wrapped around her like a long-lost mum. And the kitten — now named Triangle (don’t ask 😄😂) — followed Poppy everywhere.

With Poppy’s gentle guidance (and a few treats), Triangle worked up the courage to enter the house… and, of course, hop up on the bed.

Now? They’re inseparable.

From two lives filled with pain and hunger to a world of comfort, safety, and love.

If ever there was a story that shows why we do what we do — this is it. 💖
Every life matters.
Every effort counts.
And every one of you who chooses not to look away makes stories like this possible.

🐾 He is extremely sociable and well handled and just about ready for his wonderful new forever family, he is already used to well-behaved dogs, cats and children, and will make an absolute purrrfect addition to a special family .🐾

Another little life changed today. 💓✨💓
We might not move mountains, but we do change these little lives one at a time!

Raisin was sterilised today and now she is home safe and recovering , and really enjoying her bowl being full, for the first time in her life!

UPDATE: ADOPTED!! 💗✨

😍Next up we have the beautiful Maquia, she is an absolute darling and very very affectionate, so much so it's going to be very hard for her foster mum to let her go!!

Estimated to be 5 years of age maximum, she will be sterilised as soon as she has finished feeding her kittens in the next couple of weeks. Ready early September to start a super new life!

This week we took a few days away from the Aude to catch up with family.

During the trip we came across this beautiful young female deer.
Unfortunately she had been hit by a car ( probably about 12 hours prior to us finding her) and was now badly injured and unable to move in the ditch.

❤️‍🩹After accessing the situation quickly, we know we had no choice, but to intervene.
It was clear that she was unable to get out of this situation due to her injuries and would die slowly if not helped. ❤️‍🩹

We managed to get her into the car and straight to a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in the area, where she immediately received medical attention.

We hope she makes a very speedy recovery and will be released again in the same area very soon! 💗🤞✨💗

🚨⚠️On Sunday afternoon we were alerted to a case of two newborn kittens ( just 8-10 days old) without mum, in a critical condition, so time really was of the essence here.

Unfortunately the extremely malnourished tiny female passed away a few hours after her rescue, which was heartbreaking.
We have some solace in the fact she was warm, dry, fed and cuddled up to her brother for her passing. 😓✨💗

💗 We are pleased to report her little brother Leo, after a very rocky 24hrs is now thriving, and feeding very well, every 2 hours day and night. Leo will be available for adoption to a very special home at the end of September, please form an orderly queue! 💗😆 He's a really cutie! 🥰
