Tour de l’Irlande solidaire en Kayak

Seakayak for children "is the name of the 2,400 km sea kayaking adventure around Ireland, initiated by Pierre-Emmanuel Leclere, Pouzinois and business leader, for the benefit of clowns at the hospital . The association "Drôm'Ardèch'Expé" created for occasion launches this solitary solidarity expedition to perform the tour of Ireland by sea kayak, in order to support the association "1.2.3 Soleil" from Drôme years to the animation of "artists at the hospital" in Drôme and Ardèche. Several highlights will be organized around the event: the follow-up of the expedition by CE students from the school of Baix and CM1 of the Livron-sur-Drôme school, the conferences and the diffusion of the documentary film during and after the expedition, a participatory campaign, to collect donations for the association crestoise, etc. Pierre-Emmanuel Leclere will launch in the spring of 2019 on the Atlantic, since Clifden in the Irish region of Connemara. Before completing a loop of more than 2,400 km in 4 months aboard his French-made sea kayak. With objectives of sporting challenges, energy autonomy and solo sailing, the goal will consist, between 3.4 million paddle strokes, to produce a photo book, as well as a documentary film on the expedition allowing to highlight the association "1.2.3 Sun", during the various animations.

Recall that the volunteers of "123 Soleil" artists at the hospital defend the idea that art is full of life and that it has a mission in the hospital sector, since it brings joy and good humor to patients, comfort to the families, but also to the caregivers, offering them a space of decompression. The expedition is financed only by private partners and by the project initiator. The donations will be obtained by the participatory contribution and will be entirely donated to the association crestoise. A collection, via among others the site "Leetchi", was set up by Pierre-Emmanuel Leclere. We will have the opportunity to regularly return to our columns on the preparation and the development at sea and on land with the schools of this solidarity adventure.
