The top-gallant yard was broken during the last passage from Alanya. There was not too strong wind - around 6 Bft . After inspection, we see that 25-year-old timber sometimes is not so strong anymore. Now, the crew is looking for a new piece of timber...

You can visit the frigate “Shtandart” in Alanya Marina only this weekend. On April 8, the ship leaves to start her sailing season.⛵️⚓️🧭🗺

From April 4 to April 7, the frigate “Shtandart” will be open to everyone. 🤗 It will work like a museum, with tours guided by crew members.
From 11:00 to 19:00, we are waiting for you.

Come on board, you will learn how its 150 sailors lived on the ship and how they protected Saint Petersburg from enemy fleets.
You can take photos in Peter the Great’s admiral cabin 👑
try the sailors’ hammocks, 🪔
and see if you could sail on a real frigate.

On April 8, “Shtandart” leaves for a training voyage to Bodrum. There are still some free hammocks for enthusiasts!

Entry is free, but donations to support the ship are very welcome ☺️
