🎉 Proud Moment for ESBS!

We are thrilled to share that ESBS has been ranked 2nd among all biology engineering schools in France and that for the second year in a row!

This recognition highlights the strength of the academic programs received in 3 countries, the dedication of our faculty, and the exceptional talent of our students and alumni, shaping the next generation of leaders in biotechnology and biological engineering.

A big congrats to everyone who contributes to the excellence and spirit of ESBS: students, professors, researchers, partners, and of course, our vibrant alumni community!

🎓 Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

Last month, the CBT Class of 2025 celebrated their graduation, with François Deryckere as the promotion’s godfather.

Last week, it was the turn of the BT students and Master’s graduates to receive their diplomas, accompanied by their godmother, Isabelle Mansuy.

The AAE was represented at both ceremonies:

It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce the association to our newest alumni.

JOIN US AT THE 2025 ESBS ALUMNI DAY !!! 🧬

The Alumni Day is part of the Biotech Week-End organized in tandem by the ESBS, the AAE and the student association NGB. The Alumni Day will be reserved for the ESBS alumni and students. It will be a great opportunity for all of us to reconnect or connect with new people, discover what is happening with the school as well as spending a nice moment in Strasbourg ! 🧬 News at the ESBS 🧬

📣 At the beginning of the month we attended the ESBS council for the election of the Director. Dominique Bagnard was relected for a second term.

🧑‍🔬 It was followed by the ESBS general assembly were you can find some highlight in the PDF (https://tr.ee/kRtphJRW_k) made by ESBS !
It was also a good time to celebrate three professor, Mr. Chatton, Mr. Orfanoudakis and Mr. Deryckere ar also going into retirement after this school year.
We thank them for all they taught us and hope they enjoy this next jouney !

Hello everyone!

As you may already know, this year will take place the 1st edition of the ESBS Biotech Weekend which is nothing more than the Biotech Day followed by the Alumni Day grouped over two days.
On this occasion we will also celebrate the anniversary of the promo 1985, 1995, 2005 and 2015 on Saturday November 8th. This day will end with a casual dinner in a restaurant in the city center of Strasbourg.

Like last year, we are counting on a budget of around 50EUR/person. We already have 30 people registered from the classes of 1995, 2005 and 2015.

Damien Steyer 🌪Twistaroma🌪, a ESBS alumni appointed ESBS board president ! 🤩

In the last newsletter of 2024 we shared with you that Damien Steyer (Promo 2007) had been appointed to sit at the ESBS board ! Damien was a former student of the ESBS, is now a doctor in biotechnology and the founder and CEO of TWISTAROMA, hosted at the ESBS bioincubator. this school played and still plays a key role in his career. Participating in its governance was obvious to him.

And he decided to improve his commitment to the school by becoming the new president of the ESBS Board! 🎉

We are delighted to see an alumni involved in the school's life ! If you are interested in joining him in the ESBS board feel free to contact us or him !
