The endorsement was made during a strategic meeting held in Paris, France, between the NURTW chairman and the founder of KOF, King Ogunremi, where both parties discussed the growing menace of illicit drug use among transport workers and Nigerian youths.

During the meeting, a partnership was agreed in principle between the King Ogunremi Foundation and the NURTW to support awareness, sensitisation, and community-based intervention programmes aimed at reducing substance abuse within the transport sector and local communities.

Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle Alhaji Adekunle Adio Olanrewaju commended the foundation for its proactive and humanitarian approach toward tackling drug abuse, describing the initiative as a timely intervention in addressing a major social challenge affecting families, transport workers, and young people across Nigeria.

The King Ogunremi Foundation (KOF) proudly announces the official appointment of Mr Oluwabunmi Afis Mogaji, popularly known as General Spanky, as the Chief of Staff of the foundation during the historic King's Barber Connect Nigeria KBCN seminar 2025 held at the Elomaz Conference Centre, Maryland, Lagos, Nigeria.

King Ogunremi Foundation engages Lagos Interpol Commissioner on Strategic Partnership to Combat Drug Abuse

The King Ogunremi Foundation (KOF) has strengthened its commitment to combating illicit drug abuse among young people through a high-level courtesy visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police (Interpol), CP Bode Ojajuni.

The meeting, led by King Ogunremi, founder of the Foundation, focused on building a strategic partnership with the Nigeria Police Force (Interpol Unit) to address the rising challenge of substance abuse among youths across Lagos State.

During the engagement, King Ogunremi highlighted the far-reaching impact of illicit drug use on young people, linking it to crime, mental health challenges, and social instability. He outlined a multi-dimensional strategy currently being deployed by the Foundation, including:
