The foundation focuses on addressing critical social issues through innovative, grassroots interventions that combine welfare support, awareness campaigns, and skills development.

KOF’s core programmes include support for vulnerable groups particularly widows through financial assistance, small business grants, and medical outreach initiatives. In addition, the foundation champions youth-focused interventions aimed at preventing and reducing illicit drug abuse, while creating pathways for empowerment and self-reliance.

A key initiative of the foundation is the Drug Abuse Awareness Campaign (DAAC), a community based programme designed to educate, engage, and rehabilitate young people through accessible platforms such as barbershops and outreach hubs. Through DAAC, KOF has successfully implemented pilot programmes that integrate awareness, mentorship, and practical skill acquisition.

To strengthen its impact, KOF works in strategic collaboration with key partners, including King's Barber Connect Nigeria (KBCN), which provides a network of barbershops as safe spaces for youth engagement; the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), offering expertise in drug prevention and control; and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), supporting community safety and enforcement. These partnerships create a multi-sectoral approach that combines advocacy, prevention, and community policing.

The foundation is also expanding its innovation through initiatives like the SafeSound Creative Hub, which complements Drug Abuse Awareness Campaign (DAAC) by offering creative and vocational opportunities for young people as alternatives to substance abuse.

The newly introduced KOF logo reflects the foundation’s vision and values symbolizing care, empowerment, and leadership. The imagery of supportive hands and a crowned figure represents protection, dignity, and the nurturing of potential, while the circular design signifies unity, continuity, and community impact.
