Nairobi will host the Africa Forward Summit for the first time in an Anglophone African country. Scheduled to take place from 11-12 May 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya, the forum aims to strengthen economic relationships between Africa and France, with a particular focus on investment, innovation, and growth.

Hosting the summit in Nairobi reflects a broader recognition of the diversity of Africa’s economic ecosystems and the importance of engaging stakeholders across linguistic and regional

Over the past decade, Nairobi has positioned itself as one of Africa’s hubs for entrepreneurship, finance, and innovation. Against this backdrop, Nairobi offers a particularly relevant setting for discussions on Africa’s economic transformation and innovation driven growth.

By bringing together policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across Africa and France, the summit has the potential to catalyse new partnerships and strengthen economic cooperation.

At the Kenya France Business Club, we see initiatives like this as important steps in strengthening economic bridges between Kenya, France, and the wider African continent.

After a brief pause to reflect and re-strategize, Kenya France Business Club (KFBC) is stepping into a milestone year in 2026. Ten years of building bridges between Kenya and France.

Invited by Caroline Ciku Mwangi , a former KFBC member, Our President Veronica Kariukii accompanied by our Secretary-General Grace Baléstriéri, engaged with Master’s students in the Business in Africa programme at ICD Business School.

A fireside chat with the next generation of professionals centered on the power of networking, cultural fluency, the Africa forward summit to take place in Nairobi, Kenya and most importantly, cross-border entrepreneurship,. They unpacked the realities of doing business in Africa and Europe, beyond theory and grounded in lived experience.

As KFBC enters its next decade, these conversations remind us why we exist: to connect, to mentor, and to keep the bridge open for the next generation.
