What better way to discover the Lake Geneva region than by sharing new experiences together? 😊
For the first excursion of CAGI’s 2026–2027 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒎𝒆, we crossed the border for the very first time and headed to , where our participants and their families received a wonderfully warm welcome in Ville de Divonne-les-Bains.
🌿 The afternoon began with a guided discovery of the town and its heritage, including a fascinating visit to the historic 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, the oldest of its kind in France.
✨As evening approached, participants had the opportunity to enjoy Ville de Divonne-les-Bains’s lively night market and soak up its summer atmosphere. And for those who stayed a little longer, the day ended on a spectacular note with a drone show featuring more than 1,000 drones lighting up the night sky!
🙏 Our warmest thanks to Mayor Scattolin and Deputy Mayor Eric Gavaret for welcoming our participants so warmly and making this first CAGI excursion to France such a special occasion.
A very special thank you also to Valèrie El Nammar and the entire team at the Office de Tourisme Divonne-les-Bains (Ain) for their outstanding organisation, kindness and hospitality throughout the day, as well as to the volunteers of the Association Divonnelectro for bringing the fascinating history of Moulin David to life.
❤️ A day of discovery, encounters and shared experiences — and a wonderful reminder that feeling at home in a new region also begins by exploring it together.
