Call out for any military or police veterans, current serving or families to join us at Gympie Cemetery at 9am on Friday 30 October. Help us tend to our fallen legends and get them looking smart for Remembrance Day. Just bring sturdy footwear and gardening gloves if you want. We will supply the rest of the tools and gear. Lunch will be at the Gympie RSL afterwards for a b**r and debrief. RSVP in messages so we know numbers. Look forward to meeting you there.

Maj Gen Charles Cox CG CMG DSO VD and 5x MID. Known to his men as Fighting Charlie, one of our greatest Anzac leaders in a humble grave in here in Carlingford Sydney. A veteran of two tours of South Africa, commanded the 6th Light Horse at Gallipoli then the 1st Light Horse Brigade from Egypt all the way to Jordan. Thanks to the neighbouring building site for the sand and barrow and one of our new volunteers for the wreath, made a special finishing touch. Thanks to the cemetery manager Phil for allowing us the privilege. 🌺

Project Norden’s recent day at Riverside Cemetery Queanbeyan. Kicking off our partnership with Australian Army with Deputy Chief of Army Maj Gen Chris Smith DSC AM CSC and his family, Cadets from ADFA, the Queanbeyan RSL Sub-branch, local military and ACT Police veterans. With over 30 volunteers, we tended to over 60 military and police graves in no time, with Sallyman refreshments and old fashioned mateship at the pub lunch afterwards. What a bunch of legends, tending to a bunch of our past legends. If there any doubt as to where the greatest country on earth is, look no further 🇦🇺🦘 🌺

2/17 Royal New South Wales Regiment G’day legends, we found an unmarked grave of a 17th Battalion AIF soldier buried in Carlingford. He has no surviving family and needs a marked grave. He won’t be eligible for an official one. Is there anyone in Sydney that could touch base with the CO/RSM to pass the hat around and get it marked. We will need around $800 to $1000 to get it done. Cheers, LK.

An absolute privilege and pleasure when the Governor General and commander in chief of the ADF meets with you and tells you how much she loves the work we have been doing. With some sound advice from a knowledgeable and experienced mentor.
