🚶‍♀️🌍 WALK AND TALK – KA210 Adult Education Project

📅 27–30 October 2025 | La Spezia, Italy
👥 4 countries • 4 participants each 🇮🇹🇫🇷🇧🇬🇲🇰

We are proud to continue our collaboration within the Erasmus+ KA210 Adult Education project “Walk and Talk”, uniting partners from Italy, France, Bulgaria, and Macedonia.

This was the second transnational meeting, hosted in La Spezia, Italy, following the first one in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The program focused on well-being, active living, and lifelong learning through movement, discovery, and dialogue. 🌿✨

The activities included:
🚶‍♀️ Urban trekking through the historic centre of La Spezia
🌊 Visits to Porto Venere and the breathtaking Cinque Terre (5 Terre)
🤝 Meetings with the Mayor of La Spezia and local community organisations

Together, we are strengthening partnerships, exchanging good practices, and showing that education goes beyond classrooms — it grows through shared experiences, culture, and connection. 💬🌍

🌍✨ Be Online in a Smart Way: Take the Opportunities, Be Aware of the Risks

📅 24.09 – 02.10.2025 | Matour, France
👥 36 participants

La Génération de Demain proudly hosted the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Be Online in a Smart Way: Take the Opportunities, Be Aware of the Risks” in Matour, France.

The project gathered 36 young people from across Europe to explore how to navigate the digital world confidently, responsibly, and creatively.

Through workshops, discussions, and interactive activities, participants developed their skills to:
💡 Recognize online risks and misinformation
💬 Create meaningful and positive digital content
🌍 Use technology consciously to promote social awareness

This exchange offered a space for teamwork, learning, and intercultural connection — showing that the digital world can be a place for empowerment and positive change when used wisely.

🗳️✨ What’s Holding You Back?
Democracy only works when we take part in it.

During our Youth Exchange in Sweden, young people chose this powerful topic for the Do You Know Your Democracy? project — because real change starts with participation.

Across Europe, young people are stepping up:
🎤 Organising
📢 Speaking out
🌍 Leading change

That’s what the EU stands for:
🇪🇺 Democracy. Equality. Participation. Solidarity.

Here’s how YOU can take action:
1️⃣ Vote – Every election is your chance to be heard.
2️⃣ Join youth organisations – Change is strongest when it’s youth-led.
3️⃣ Use social media for good – Make your voice visible.
4️⃣ Get involved in Erasmus+ – Youth participation projects funded by the EU help you grow, lead, and make a difference.

💬 The EU is built on the belief that every citizen matters — and that includes you.
💥 So show up, speak up, and shape tomorrow.

🗳️✨ What’s Holding You Back?
This is the next topic chosen by young people during our Youth Exchange in Sweden, part of the Do You Know Your Democracy? project - because democracy only works if we participate in it.

Across Europe, young people are stepping up, not just to vote, but to organise, speak out, and lead change. And that’s exactly what the EU stands for:
🇪🇺 Democracy. Equality. Participation. Solidarity.

Here’s how you can take action and shape your tomorrow 👇

1️⃣ Vote – Your voice matters in every election.
2️⃣ Join youth organisations – where change is youth-led.
3️⃣ Use social media for impact – Let your voice be seen and heard.
4️⃣ Get involved in Erasmus+ Youth Participation Projects – EU-funded opportunities to grow, lead, and make a difference.

💬 The EU is built on the belief that every citizen matters and that includes YOU. So let’s show up, speak up, and stay engaged.

💥 Take action now. Shape tomorrow.

🛠️ Nepotism isn’t unbeatable — but change starts with action.

In our final post from the No Cousins Club campaign, we’re sharing real ways you can stand up for fairness and help build a system based on merit and transparency.

Here’s how to fight nepotism:
✅ Speak Up – Report unfair practices in hiring, education, or student leadership.
✅ Know Your Rights – Learn about anti-corruption laws and EU protections like the Whistleblower Directive.
✅ Demand Transparency – Push for clear, open processes in youth organisations and public institutions.
✅ Back Merit-Based Initiatives – Join or launch movements that fight for equal access to opportunities.
✅ Vote & Participate – Use your voice where it counts — in elections, debates, and decision-making.

💪 Nepotism thrives in silence. But it crumbles when young people demand justice and fairness.

Let’s uphold the EU’s values of:
⚖️ Equality
📜 Rule of Law
🧒 Youth Empowerment

🌍🇪🇺 Start where you are — your school, your group, your vote.

“You did everything right — studied hard, applied early, showed up on time. But someone with connections got the spot.”
Sound familiar? That’s nepotism — and it’s more than unfair. It’s harmful.

In this second post from No Cousins Club, we’re highlighting how nepotism affects young people every day:
🚪 Shut out of jobs and internships
📚 Unequal access to education
🗳️ Blocked from politics and leadership roles

🇪🇺 The EU is working to break these barriers:
🔍 Promoting transparency and accountability through the Rule of Law
📊 Funding youth programs like Erasmus+, the Solidarity Corps, and the Youth Guarantee — so everyone has a fair shot, based on merit, not connections

It’s time to shift the system toward fairness, transparency, and real opportunity — the values young people are demanding across Europe.

🍲❤️ Every recipe carries a legacy. Every flavour tells a story.
National dishes are more than just food — they reflect identity, heritage, and home.

As part of the From Borders to Belonging campaign, young people are sharing traditional meals from around the world to nourish something deeper:
🌱 Hope
💛 Empathy
🫂 Acceptance

When we share a meal, we share a piece of who we are — and find connection with others on similar paths.

🌍 From Borders to Belonging
A youth-led campaign sharing real stories behind migration — reminding us that everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and included.

Born from a European youth exchange, this initiative challenges stereotypes and calls for compassion, connection, and community.
It’s not just about crossing borders — it’s about building a sense of belonging.

Created by young people from Estonia, Sweden, North Macedonia, France, and Croatia, as part of the project “Do You Know Your Democracy?”, the campaign stands for the EU's values:
🤝 Solidarity
⚖️ Equality
🗣️ Human dignity

With support from the European Commission’s DG for Migration and Home Affairs and the EU Agency for Asylum, the EU aims to manage migration fairly and humanely.

The new Pact on Migration and Asylum strengthens shared responsibility and faster asylum processes — moving us closer to a Europe where no one is left behind.

📣 Next post in our campaign created by young people as a part of "Do you know your Democracy?" project - they wanted to offer something simple but powerful: a gesture that says, “I need someone to listen.” 🧏‍♀️💬
If you ever feel alone, there's a sign you can use.
Just place your hand near your ear - it means “I need someone to listen.”
This simple gesture lets others know you're asking for help, not with advice or solutions, but with kind presence and open ears. Any young person can use it when words feel too heavy.
Someone who sees this sign can come sit with you, listen without judgment, and simply be there.
Being listened to can save someone’s life.
Never underestimate the power of feeling heard.

Think of the EU like a system where different parts work together to make decisions that affect us all. It’s not one person or one building, it’s a system where countries and elected people have a role.
All these institutions are here to make sure no one has all the power and that countries work together fairly.
The decisions these people make affect things like climate action, your rights, digital rules, and even your ability to study or work abroad.
And the more you know, the more you can shape it.
But the EU isn’t just institutions, it is people, especially young people, raising their voices.
In a recent youth exchange organised as a part of “Do you know your Democracy?” project, participants tackled real issues they face today: from immigration and nepotism to plastic waste, mental health, and the need for youth participation in democracy.
These aren’t just topics. They’re youth-led conversations and part of what the EU should be listening to.
Stay tuned, their voices are coming up next.

🌍 As part of the “Do You Know Your Democracy?” project, we just wrapped up an incredible journey: the Youth Exchange “Youth Active Now!” 🇪🇺

📍 Held in Floda, Sweden, from April 25 to May 5, 2025, this exchange brought together young people from across Europe to explore what the European Union really means — what it is, how it works, and why it matters.

💡 Over 10 inspiring days, we:
✔️ Learned about EU values and institutions
✔️ Discussed youth participation in democracy
✔️ Reflected on well-being, mental health & nature connection

Because democracy isn’t just about systems — it’s about how we feel, connect, and take care of ourselves too. 💬🌿🧠

Through interactive workshops, intercultural exchange, and creative reflection, we built new skills and launched a youth-led social media campaign to help bring the EU closer to young people everywhere.

🤝 This journey was about becoming active citizens, sharing perspectives, and shaping a more inclusive and participatory Europe — together.

Big thanks to our amazing hosts for organizing this experience in such a beautiful setting, and to our incredible partners:
