Only 5 days to go until « The 10+2 Santorini Conference: Systems Medicine and Personalised Health & Therapy » begins in Santorini.
I am very pleased to share that the Conference abstracts have now been published in Drug Metabolism and Personalized Therapy.
The theme - “The Odyssey from Hope to Practice: Patient first - keep Ithaca always in your mind” - captures the spirit of the meeting: bringing together science, innovation and clinical translation to advance personalised health and therapy for the benefit of patients.
The abstracts reflect the breadth of the field, with contributions spanning pharmacogenomics, biomarkers, multi-omics, liquid biopsy, AI, integrated disease risk prediction, and patient-centred approaches to precision medicine.
I am looking forward to welcoming our speakers, participants and early-career researchers to Santorini next week.

Very pleased to share the editorial for the 10+2 Santorini Conference: Systems Medicine and Personalised Health Therapy, which will take place in Santorini, Greece, 26–29 May 2026.

The title of the meeting - “The Odyssey from Hope to Practice: Patient First - keep Ithaca always in your mind” - reflects both the scientific challenge and the patient-centred purpose of personalised medicine.

The programme brings together an outstanding international faculty to discuss advances across pharmacogenomics, multi-omics biomarkers, liquid biopsy, AI, integrated disease risk prediction, functional genomics, personalised lifestyle, obesity, diabetes, and 4P medicine.

I am very proud, as the Santorini Conferences Association President, to organise a conference series with such a long-standing role in shaping discussions around personalised medicine.
