As we prepare to mark the centenary of the Menin Gate Memorial in 2027, we are proud to unveil a special collaboration with award-winning British artist Eleanor Tomlinson.
Her stunning new watercolour illustration offers a unique aerial perspective of this iconic memorial at the heart of Ieper.
Through this artwork, we celebrate both remembrance and hope, capturing the Menin Gate as visitors experience it today.
The illustration also features on an exclusive Menin Gate 100 commemorative collection available at the Menin Gate Visitor Centre.
Through this project, we hope to inspire new generations to discover the memorial's story and remember those commemorated on its walls.

The memorial was unveiled 100 years ago (10th October 1926). We are privileged to maintain the memorial on behalf of the South African authorities and support their work.
But did you know that we also care the Delville Wood Cemetery in front of the memorial ? It contains thousands of South Africans burials, and many of other Commonwealth nationalities. The memorial and Cemetery are inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 2023.
-The memorial is 34min from our Beaurains CWGC Visitor Centre.

A special moment of remembrance at Tyne Cot Cemetery & Memorial Yesterday as the UNESCO World Heritage marker was officially unveiled. Together with local authorities, UNESCO representatives, CWGC colleagues and pupils from De Regenboog Primary School, we celebrated the site's inscription and its enduring message of peace. The students' moving poem and Peace Dove artwork were a poignant reminder of the importance of passing remembrance to future generations.
