Looking back to our emotional 🌺𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 at Bayeux War Cemetery ceremony.
Veterans, our torch for peace and public honoured the memory of the casualties who fell during the Normandy landings and campaign.

A moving ceremony which included hymns and poems to mark the freedoms we have today.

Our gardeners work all year round to ensure our sites are in the best possible condition for your visit, and also during the D-Day commemorations, such as here at 📍Bayeux War Cemetery.

*Note: The Bayeux Memorial is undergoing renovation to safeguard it for the future. We are very sorry that the Memorial is closed during this period, but this work is essential to protect it for decades to come. The current works form part of a carefully planned programme to ensure the Memorial continues to honour the nearly 1,800 servicemen and women commemorated here with dignity. 🌺🎥| Video-Mapping |🌸🌲📌Thiepval Memorial 🇫🇷
We are delighted to have welcomed over 5,000 visitors over the three evenings of video mapping projections on our largest memorial in the world, the Thiepval Memorial in the Somme.

A moment suspended in time, where sound and image merged with the thoughts of the audience and the performers, all focused on the memory of the 72,000 Commonwealth soldiers commemorated on our monumental 45-metre-high memorial.

An event produced as part of the Mapping Festival organised by the Région Hauts-de-France (Northern France) and supported by the Communauté de Communes du Pays du Coquelicot in our site.
