Alliance Network Alliance Network: a selective and innovative Hospitality global Network composed of 25 partners !

Institut LYFE, formerly Institut Paul Bocuse formed the Alliance Network in 2004. Today, this unique Alliance covers 25 partners in these countries: Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Finland, France, Greece, Lebanon, Mexico, Colombia, Cameroon, Malta, Cyprus, Peru, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and the United States. Each university selects its top students for an int

ensive 10-weeks session at Institut LYFE. Every year, this innovative educational program gives students a unique opportunity to perfect their technical skills, discover French culture, while at the same time sharing and showcasing their own culinary culture. The Alliance also promotes sharing of skills and through exchanges of teaching staff from the Institut LYFE and its partners. In 2024, the Alliance will be celebrating its 20th anniversary!

We are pleased to share the experience of Maxime Moïse, from and ALLiance Network, following his recent visit to our Chilean partner, , in Santiago:

“I had the chance to visit the Alliance’s Chilean partner, INACAP, in Santiago de Chile. I had the opportunity to meet & Patricio Qüense Abarzua, and many other colleagues who are passionate about Hospitality and Culinary Arts education. I was impressed by the quality of the facilities and the instructors, and I had the chance to discover delicious Chilean recipes during Chile’s Gastronomy Day. The Alliance is fortunate to count INACAP among its members; with 30 campuses spread across the country’s 16 regions and over 12,000 students in Hospitality and Culinary Arts, they are truly the leaders in their field in Chile! I am thrilled about the developments ahead and our collaboration!”

They had the opportunity to present their skills in front of Institut Lyfe students, creating a moment that was both educational and inspiring. ✨

🌏🇰🇷 When Daejeon tradition meets international students

Our ALLiance member, and especially its Department of Global Culinary Arts has published Taste of Daejeon, the third student-produced cookbook since 2023.

Inspired by life in Daejeon, South Korea, the book explores the everyday food experiences of international culinary students—from first meals in the city to market discoveries, class creations, and recipes from home countries recreated abroad.

Across eight chapters, students from around the world share recipes, stories, and styling concepts they researched, cooked, photographed, and produced themselves, celebrating the diversity of cultures studying culinary arts together in Daejeon. 📖

Proud of the team Catalina Córdoba, Anna Sofía Roncancio, and Tatiana Hernández, guided by Chef Felipe Martínez, for their victory.

🌍🇲🇹 Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our new exchange students from , an ALLiance member, to !

Their integration was a true immersion into the spirit of French hospitality and gastronomy. From their very first days, they discovered the city of Lyon, its iconic landmarks and vibrant culture.

A highlight of the day? Tasting the famous “brioche à la praline” 🍰 after taking part in a fun “Recipe Hunt” challenge 🔎
