Our first blog post and our official launch. We are the Faroe Islands War Memorial Project, a group of like-minded individuals who have come together to remember those who lost their lives in the Faroe Islands during WWII. We are trying to raise money in order to create a memorial at the National Arboretum in England to show that the British won't forget the sacrifice that was made by the Faroese people.
