✨ VANUA VA TAVUKI – GROUP 3 PERFORMS AT PARLIAMENT HOUSE ✨
Fijian Association of South Australia – 50th Anniversary
3 November, Adelaide
A truly special moment for the Vanua va Tavuki family.
A group of our very own VVT Group 3 workers, currently on their second deployment in Renmark under PLL Contractors, travelled to Adelaide to perform at the 50th Anniversary of the Fijian Association of South Australia, held at the SA Parliament House.
They began their day early in Renmark, driving down in a minibus, arriving in Adelaide by the afternoon. After a bit of sightseeing and taking in the city, they stepped into Parliament House with humility, pride, and the spirit of Tavuki in their hearts.
Their performance that night was nothing short of beautiful — filled with harmony, reverence, and that unmistakable warmth of Kadavu. They carried their villages with them, and they carried the Vanua va Tavuki name with honour.
The Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Tourism, Hon. Zoe Bettison, expressed her appreciation not only for their singing, but for their contribution to South Australia’s agricultural sector — recognising the vital role PALM Scheme workers play in sustaining the orchards, vineyards, and farms of the Riverland and beyond.
To make the night even more memorable, the group was invited into the House of Assembly Chambers for a special tour and photographs — a moment of pride they will remember for years to come.
🌺 A celebration of culture.
A recognition of contribution.
A proud moment for the Vanua va Tavuki and for Kadavu.
Vinaka vakalevu to PLL Contractors and to our hardworking VVT Group 3 boys — you represented your families, your villages, and your Vanua with dignity and grace.
