Last week, Men Empowerment Network had the privilege of facilitating a workshop in the Wailoku-Sailoama community.

We engaged with leaders, youths, and community members on building character, responsibility, and purpose-driven living. The energy, respect, and willingness to learn in this church hall reaffirmed why we do this work.

*Men Empowerment Network Workshop: Workmanship, Goal Setting & BRAVE Leadership*

Yesterday we came together for the Men Empowerment Network Workshop to talk about what it really takes to lead and build.

The focus was clear: *BRAVE Leadership is internal*.
*You lead yourself first.* Before you can lead anyone else, you have to own your habits, your mindset, and your standards. Because *mind set comes before skill set*.

We talked about what it means to have *been BRAVE in these tough times for our youths* — staying steady, showing up, and setting an example when it’s easier to check out. That’s what grassroots leadership looks like.

Special shoutout to the *grassroot leaders* from *Viwawa in Navua* who are doing the work on the ground, not just talking about it.

Workmanship, goal setting, and leadership aren’t separate ideas. They’re connected. You set the standard in yourself first, then you bring that standard to your work and to the people you lead.

The conversation was direct, practical, and real. Now the work starts.
