More tranexamic acid delivered to the CWM Maternity Hospital yesterday!!

"Tranexamic acid (TXA) is a simple, cost-effective, and life-saving medication used to treat and prevent postpartum hemorrhage. Given intravenously as early as possible after birth, it plays a critical role in reducing blood loss and saving mothers’ lives whether during vaginal or caesarean deliveries".

The delivery was received by Dr Sisilia and Dr Mere Nabou, whose gratitude and smiles said everything :)

One of my greatest joys is seeing the faces of our medical staff who are our true health heroes when they receive support that directly helps the women and babies they care for every day. This is practical support, timely help, and knowing that together we are making their work just a little easier, and outcomes a little safer.

These are the moments that truly matter for us. Women supporting women!!

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SUVA!! THANK YOU!

So proud of these incredible young women from International School Suva!!

Together with the rest of the Year 11's and as part of their community project, they organised bake sales and small fundraiser events and chose to donate all funds raised to the International Women’s Association (IWA).

It is truly heart warming to see young people who understand kindness, compassion, and the importance of giving back to their community.

These funds will be directed towards supporting the Mobile Kindy with school stationery for 2026, honouring IWA’s commitment to early childhood education and ensuring our youngest learners have the resources they need to thrive.

Thank you to these students who came to school to personally hand over their cheque to IWA Board Member Natalia Larsen and President Judy Compain.

We are so proud of these young adults, already leading with empathy, purpose, and a strong sense of community.
