PacNOG 36 is to be held from 24 to 28 November, in Rarotonga, Cook Islands, hosted by Vodafone Cook Islands with the support of APNIC, NSRC, Flexoptix, and long-standing Pacific Internet partners, including ICANN.
This edition welcomes seven fellowship-assisted participants alongside engineers from across the region, coming together to strengthen operational skills, routing security practices, and technical capacity for Pacific networks.
The ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ brings contributions from APNIC, NSRC, ICANN, the University of Oregon, and regional specialists, covering topics such as Git workflows, routing security and Internet growth, optical fundamentals, Pacific IDNs, RPKI implementation, DNS/DDoS insights, ICANN84 updates, and Unix/Linux operations.
Following the conference, participants will take part in two hands-on workshops:

With travel to the Cook Islands being challenging, participation this year is naturally more streamlined โ giving every attendee extended access to trainers, peers, and deeper engagement throughout the week.
