Kamil College – AFL School Visit

A fantastic morning at Kamil College, where students took part in an engaging classroom theory session introducing AFL and what it takes to be an elite athlete.

The session covered leadership development, life as a professional athlete, nutrition and healthy habits, and an introduction to practical AFL football skills.

Another productive afternoon in Vitogo Village as we checked in on the progress of our young AFL athletes and the skills they’ve been developing.

It was fantastic to witness the talent on display, the enthusiasm from the players, and the improvement that’s come through consistent training. A special acknowledgment to our Western Development Officer, coach jack, for the outstanding work he’s doing in identifying, developing, and mentoring these athletes. His commitment is helping build a strong foundation for the future of AFL in the Western Division esp Vitogo.

To the players, keep working hard, stay disciplined, and trust the process. Your dedication today is shaping tomorrow’s opportunities.

A fantastic day introducing AFL to the students of Nawai Secondary School! 🏉🇫🇯

Vinaka vakalevu to the Principal, teachers, and students of NAWAI Secondary School for welcoming us and embracing a sport that is new to many of your students. The enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to learn made today’s session a great success.

A sincere thank you to the Fiji National Sports Commission for assisting us in connecting with the school and helping make this opportunity possible.

A special thank you to the St Kilda Football Club for delivering an engaging classroom session on nutrition, healthy habits, and what it takes to live the lifestyle of an AFL player. The students gained valuable knowledge both on and off the field, making the day a well-rounded learning experience.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Nawai Community Police Fiji Police Force for joining us throughout the program and supporting our vision of promoting AFL as a drug-free sport. Together, we are using sport as a platform to encourage healthy lifestyles, positive choices, and stronger communities.
